After many years at Amazon where he led Talent Management & Development at Amazon in Seattle and where he was Director Kindle and Managing Director of Amazon BuyVIP in Germany. Before Amazon, he was GM Sales Europe at L´Oréal in Paris (France) and Country Manager Consumer Division in Poland, after various other senior leadership positions at L´Oréal around the globe. Prior, Andreas was project manager at Rewe Group in Cologne (Germany); one of Europe´s leading retailers. His background is in general management, sales, marketing, product, and HR. In the US, Europe, and Australasia. As a passionate leadership expert, Andreas possesses comprehensive international working experience in E-Commerce, Technology, Retail, and Consumer Goods. A big focus of Andreas is assisting other to succeed. He's a certified coach and master coach. He was co-founder at Amazon Germany´s in-house Coaching Program and a founding member of L´Oréal's Mentoring Program in Germany. Over the past 20 years, Andreas had the pleasure to coach hundreds of executives, leaders, start-up entrepreneurs, and young managers. Both as internal & external coach. In his spare-time, he coaches & mentors members of disadvantaged & underprivileged groups. Based on the belief that everyone carries all resources in order to grow and to be successful. Andreas studied management and economics at Ludwigshafen Business School (Germany), in Salamanca (Spain), and in Nagoya (Japan). As a life-long learner he did an MBA at Henley Management School in the UK and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. His specialization is on organizational leadership and learning to help building high-performing organizations and fulfilled teams. He's a native German who speaks English, French, Spanish, and some Japanese. His latest book is about how organizations can create a Coaching Culture.
