Senior Product Engineer

• Worked directly on improving the main product: a creative and production platform for broadcasters built on top of React, MobX, RxJS, Slate, Node.js, and FFMPEG
• Planned, built and shipped the initial prototype for a web-based video and audio editor with the potential to save customers thousands of dollars in Premier Pro licences. This prototype has also allowed the sales team to expand their addressable market.

• Led the spinoff, onboarding, upskilling and initial work on 4 different remote-friendly teams in a hybrid remote/on-site environment.
• Engaged in daily pair programming sessions with team members to increase overall team capabilities, including the engineers who would stay leading the team.
• Worked across all stacks, including front-end (React, MobX), back-end (Node.js, AWS Lambdas, AWS ECS), and operations (Docker, Terraform) and always made sure to specialize where the team was lacking the most.
• Helped the migration of millions of users and devices to a new architecture with zero downtime.
• As part of the payments team, helped increase the payments processing bandwidth by 10x, increasing company revenue during peak hours.
