	Purchased electro-mechanical components for developmental steam reforming system used in power generation applications in the Oil and Gas sector valued at $70 million dollars. 
	Implemented new ERP system QAD and EAM and wrote work instructions for various purchasing modules including purchase order maintenance, supplier schedules, supplier returns, and asset management.

	Responsible for negotiating contracts and managing supplier development of assigned commodities- chrome plating, electronic components, injection molded parts, aluminum and steel die castings, and hardware for Tier One Automotive supplier.
	Responsible for global sourcing of assigned commodities across two manufacturing facilities in South Carolina and Mexico totaling $15 million dollars in spend.
	Negotiated contract for chrome and injection molded parts totaling $2.9 million in spend and $600k cost savings based upon PPV. 
	Conducting supplier audits and working cross functionally with engineering, marketing/sales, accounting, quality, and materials management to implement lean manufacturing with suppliers from my assigned commodities globally.

Harsco Corporation

Managed Electronics, Plastics, Rubber, Electromechanical, and Aluminum commodities globally for the entire division. 
-Responsible for three buyers 
-Responsible for $700k in savings in ten months. 
-Set up global supply chain for all commodities and strategic inventory programs for electronic compenents and modules.

•Leading projects to reduce costs by 10% of $64 million spend by implementing strategic sourcing tools such as lean manufacturing techniques, inventory reductions, and vendor managed programs. 
•Managing strategic sourcing office in China and supervising local contract engineer in sourcing development opportunities in China. 
• Lead major supplier negotiations to reduce current materials spend on industrial castings by $750K in savings annually in 2008.

Danaher Industrial Controls

	Responsible for $4.5 million of direct material spend in electronic and metal commodities. 
	Implemented price reduction savings through the use of Danaher Business System lean manufacturing tools resulting in $55k in PPV savings in 2005.
	Responsible for $80k in PPV savings through end of August 2006 and consolidating   three major vendors with a combined spend of $1 million into Kanban Suppliers using lean manufacturing techniques (Kaizen Improvement) and negotiating price reductions. 
	Responsible for negotiating pricing and purchasing of $2.8 million in electronic commodities for Lancaster Plant using lean manufacturing techniques such as single bin and two bin Kanban system and aggressive contract negotiations .
	Lead $250k in cost reduction projects for LCR conversion with electronics commodities through the end of 2006 from first article implementation to production parts ordering. 
	Responsible for negotiating pricing and purchase of $2 million in metal stampings, castings, and raw metal (steel, copper, aluminum, and brass) for cab-fabrication using lean manufacturing tools such as reverse auction,  LCR transition, and single bin kanban system.
