EPAM Systems

EPAM is a software development agency that works with companies like Google, Amazon, Atlassian, and Copa Airlines.

During my time at EPAM, I worked with Copa Airlines to develop a content management system where I was responsible for the entire lifecycle of the backend application. This app was based on extensions to the content management system (DirectUs).

• Develop a custom framework to create SOLID and Clean architected extensions.
• Build CI/CD pipeline.
• Implement a live-reloading system to improve developer experience when working with extensions.
• Develop a multi-environment abstraction to allow content managers to publish changes to the desired environment using time travel and state machines (DirectUS doesn't support this behavior out of the box).

Also, after successfully completing the extensions, I joined the SRE and platform team at Copa, where I was responsible for the DevSecOps lifecycle of multiple microservices.

• Create a dynamic execution framework to allow Terraform code to be run on demand, improving developer experience, speed, and reliability of the final infrastructure code.
• Managed a multi-region, multi-account and multi-cloud infrastructure using Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Operate a multi-service infrastructure by developing CI/CD pipelines, defining branching strategies,  roll-out strategies, and ensuring the security of every service and its infrastructure.
