I have 30+ years’ experience working across all aspects of Design and Innovation across many FMCG sectors most recently in Wellness and Healthcare. My roles have spanned Novartis Consumer Health, Reckitt Benckiser, a NED of the Design Business Association energy with bp and most recently tobacco and next generation products. I also founded and ran my own Design and Innovation agency, Pure Realisation, for several years. My experience covers: Marketing, Product Design, Brand Design and creation, R&D, Design Management, Design Leadership, Design Research, Design Thinking, Ecom, Advertising, Retail and Innovation process and pipeline development, working across all areas of a business at board level, strategically, tactically and operationally. I have led and driven design transformation in multiple global FTSE organisations and built multi award winning design teams with Design awards from; Design Management Europe Award to Transform, Effie, Design Effectiveness including the Grand Prix, Packaging world Star, Cannes Lion, and Red Dot with awards, across a range of categories and sectors. I believe passionately in holistic customer experiences that bring together world class design and fearless innovation. Being consumer and customer obsessed through leveraging the power of Design Thinking and Design Linking, leading to my own perspective on how consumer experiences need to be coherent, consistent and linked.
