Achievements

• Stabilised SG&A Costs by improving Month end processes 
• Production of Month end for SG&A and Rental Division, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Led the SOX Internal audit to ensure compliance for 12 Internal controls over different functions including Finance, Payroll, HR & Operations
• Managed a project to reduce the AP Clearing account from £2m down to £0.

Responsible for full P&L, Period end, Budgeting, Forecasting, Project & Integration work which included presenting the monthly results to the Senior Leadership Team including VP's and CEO.

Successfully handed over to 2 permanent employees over a 3 month period.

Contract extended by 1 year

Commercial Finance Accountant / Finance Business Partner - Logistics

Waterlogic UK & IE (Formerly Angel Springs)

Short term contract.

Hired to provide additional support due to recent growth within the company.

Role included integrating a new acquisition into the groups accounting structure including polices and Management accounts, consolidation and reporting to group.

Marston's PLC

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and responsible for Logistics month-end accounting cycle, and weekly / monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Worked with the Area Managers & Senior Management over a 2 month period to produce the budget for Retail Distribution of £33m.

Successfully did a 10 week handover to the person who was taking over the role on a permanent basis.

Contract extended by 3 months.

Fablink Group 

Initially a 3 month contract and reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

Tasked with bringing the Month end/Management accounts upto date (2 months behind) with no handover and limited process notes.

Completed 5 x month ends successfully, and then did a one month hand over. 

Managed a team of 5 accounts staff, including Accounts Supervisor, Sales Ledger clerk, Purchase Ledger administrator, Payroll clerk & Apprentice.

Contract extended by 1 month to help facilitate handover to new FM
