Government/Education Account Executive

Provide office technology solutions to customers to fulfill their document workflow needs.  Strive to be a true partner and consultant to customers business, providing an in depth analysis of the customers equipment and software needs.   Working for Van Ausdall & Farrar allows me to make a solution recommendation from our industry leading product lines to fit the customers exact needs, instead of being locked into only one manufacturer of equipment and software.

Account Executive

Managed 6 of our Facility Management sites, where our employees are on site at our customers locations running their mailroom/copy center activities.  Managed daily activity of employees, and met with key customer contacts to conduct quarterly account reviews.

Regional Account Manager

Managed a multi person copy center and mail room at the City of Anderson.  Processed over 40,000 customer utility bills per month, from inbound data to postal sorting and printing, to final inserting and mailing of invoices.  The Copy Center manages all in coming mail to the city of Anderson, sorting and delivering to all city buildings daily.  Managed a fleet of 50+ copiers and 80+ printers.  Managed all copy center projects.

Site Manager

Managed our onsite operation processing incoming payments and outgoing invoicing.  Managed the mail room and postal management operations.

ASK Lawncare

Owned and operated a lawncare business.  Contracted with ASons construction in Muncie, IN to provide mowing services and property preservation services on properties that had been repossessed.

S&K Menswear

Managed the Muncie, Indiana location for S&K Menswear.  Managed the sales staff, providing coaching and training to employees to help them grow their sales knowledge and abilities.  Store sales grew year over year in 2006, 2007, and 2,008, making the Muncie, IN store one of the top stores in the midwest, and in the nation as well during this time period.

I am extremely passionate about the worlds of technology and operations.  I get to combine those passions in my work I do for Samsara.  I help public sector organizations across the northern & central plains by delivering the data needed to make vehicle fleets and facilities safer, more efficient, and sustainable.  Samsara does this via the connected operations cloud.  You need accurate live data to make real time decisions.  We can help with that!  

On a personal note, my biggest priority is raising my 3 precious kids with my wife Laura.  We live on a little hobby farm NW of Minneapolis, and love the chance for our kids to experience "country life".  I also volunteer as an A/V technician and serve as a Elder at our church, Oak Grove Church, in Golden Valley, MN.
