Lead and direct all Commercial and Business Development activities in line with the company’s strategy to expand their services within the country.

Coordinating the movements of cargo from pick up from site, trucking to
port/airport, international, transportation, local customs clearance, warehousing and delivery at place, ensuring the movement of cargo are planned and executed in the most effective way to the satisfaction of my clients.

Creatively finding the right solutions for logistics managers from various industries with the aim of providing key benefits such as reduced logistics cost, shorter lead times, improve return on assets and productivity improvement.

Monitor and ensure that quality of services of our subcontractors meet our customers requirements and our standards.

Responsibilities :

Generate qualified leads, Identify and prioritize business opportunities, issue proposals, follow-up, develop and grow the business.

Working closely with DHL subsidiaries in over 220 countries to facilitate the movement of shipment from and to Ghana.

Using the structured sales approach e.g. (C.O.R.K) to make sale and close deals.

Generating a monthly report on lost customers and down traders and
recommend action points needed to reactivate them.

Writing proposals as well as doing presentations on new projects and solutions
to my clients.

To undertake field visits to 8 corporate clients on a daily basis for Acquisition,
maintenance, and development purposes.

Implementing loyalty strategies to retain existing customers.

Anticipating client’s needs and developing specific products or services to
exceed their expectations.

Providing support in marketing new and lesser known products to clients by
writing proposals to management and implementing it from start to completion.

Developing customer acquisition and business development activities and
strategies to maximize volume and market share growth.

Providing weekly market /sales report to management.
    
Developing a comprehensive approach to key industries/sectors for the clusters (i.e. mining, oil, shipping, etc).
