A native of Toronto, Canada, I am a teacher and entrepreneur. I am the Co-Founder of Learn YOUR English. We help teachers build and sell their first online course using responsive pedagogy. For teachers just starting, we help them find their niche and enroll their first 5 clients in a 30 day span without using social media at all. For teachers already running a business, we help them break their current offer into multiple revenue streams and leverage their time-based offers to earn more. Book an intro chat here: https://www.learnyourenglish.net/schedule I got my teaching start in beautiful Costa Rica, where I lived from 2010-2013. After graduating from the University of Toronto, I moved to the central american nation to teach English. Over almost four years there, I taught corporate English to professionals, was the director of studies of a language school, and founded a teacher training institute on the beach. Now back in Canada, I teach at universities here in Toronto part-time while also earning with my business, something I love helping teachers do. I’m also a big podcaster. I produce the LYE podcast - Teacher Talking Time - where we interview researchers on current trends and research in language acquisition. I am also the co-host of "Corey & Woody's IsoCast." I do some audio production, and recently completed a mini-series with Carleton University in Canada. In the past, I was a regional ESL expert on popular radio program This Week in Costa Rica and was a co-host on The Five Gallon Podcast, an indie music show. As a freelance writer and editor, I was a Young Voices Advocate and have written for The PanAm Post, Tico Times, Costa Rican Times, Antiwar.com, among others. I also co-founded the satirical blog “El Pejibaye” - what we called Costa Rica’s most nutricious news source. El Peji satirized Costa Rica in English, talked about people going to San Jose, California by mistake, had double digit millions of hits, and paid for Mexican vacations - which sounds like satire, but I assure you is not. To do this day, El Peji was the most fun I’ve ever had. Visit the Learn YOUR Engish website: learnyourenglish.net
