Served as Chair 2016-2018. Previously served as Treasurer. Appointed by County Executive Ike Leggett to serve two terms on the Board of The Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth and Families, a local management board that has brought together public and private service providers to address the needs of Montgomery County, Maryland's children under the age of 18, and their families. Comprised of 350+ public and private agencies, faith-based organizations, families, elected officials, businesses and community advocates, the Council: assesses community needs, sets priorities, targets resources, and oversees the delivery of services.

Appointed by the Governor to serve as one of nine members of the MSBDFA Board, a quasi-public organization that provides financing and other financial support to promote the viability and expansion of Maryland businesses owned by economically and socially disadvantaged entrepreneurs, as well as local small businesses that lack adequate access to private capital through normal financing channels.

Served a second term as a Board Member and fiduciary for the State of Maryland's 529 program, overseeing over $6 billion in total assets in the Maryland Prepaid College Trust, the Maryland College Investment Plan and the newly established ABLE (Achieving Better Life Experiences) Plan expected to launch in Fall 2017 to serve individuals with qualifying disabilities. I previously served on the Board from 2012-2015 before stepping down to serve as Interim Executive Director, overseeing an agency reorganization and leadership transition following the departure of the agency's top two executives who had served in their roles for more than 15 years.

Policy advisor to Maryland's independently elected Comptroller, and the $150M+ state agency of 1,200 employees, with a broad-ranging portfolio that included: the $46+ Billion State Retirement and Pension System, the $6+ Billion Maryland 529 College Savings and ABLE Disability Plans, and the Board of Public Works which oversees state contracts, real estate transactions, the state's school construction program, along with inter-agency affairs.
