i-to-i is a global provider of online and blended training courses in ‘Teaching English as a Foreign Language’, and was owned by TUI Travel PLC. 

I started as an Internet Marketing Executive based in Leeds, spent 3 years in Melbourne helping to open the Australian/Asia market, before progressing to Head of Product Development, giving me an all-round experience of developing and marketing online products.

As Head of Product Development, I owned the full product development cycle with responsibility for new product development. This included identifying product development opportunities and executing the strategy to maximise the impact of the products on the business.

Key to this was understanding how new products would be delivered, and their commercial impact. This required understanding the market, the competition, analysing what products worked well or didn’t work well, understanding industry trends and customer research in order to form a comprehensive strategy grounded in research.

Products developed helped move the company from just delivering face to face training to delivering online training products, accredited online courses, and online portfolios all of which helped grow the business.
