I’m a strategic, energetic and well-connected leader with a passion for driving innovation, enterprise, and economic growth — particularly through the power of start-ups and scaleups. Over the past two decades, I’ve built a career at the intersection of business support, place-based innovation, and public-private partnership, with a proven ability to turn ambition into action. Currently leading the Northern expansion of Sustainable Ventures, I’ve established our climate-tech presence in Manchester, secured high-profile delivery partnerships, and built a thriving regional team. I’ve also contributed to national funding bids and led on the development of innovation workspaces, helping climate-focused entrepreneurs scale their impact. Previously, I served as Chief Executive of Professional Liverpool, where I steered the organisation through the pandemic, evolved our strategic direction, and launched successful programmes like LeadHere to develop the next generation of regional talent. Earlier roles with RIBA, the Liverpool City Region LEP and MIDAS sharpened my skills in programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and sector development — from architecture to low carbon to advanced manufacturing.
