Navy SEAL who taught himself tech. My origin story: 📌 A skinny half-immigrant kid was once called Feivel by bullies. Yes, Feivel the mouse from the movie. 🐭 Feivel wants BIG things. So he... 1996: Goes to the U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis). 1999: Puts his papers in to leave because, "It's not hard. It just sucks." 1999: Stays because he recommits to being a Navy SEAL. 2000: Graduates but gets sent to a ship instead of the SEAL Teams 😖 2001: Pilots a $400M ship with 700 people aboard in places Americans have never been and the most heavily trafficked straits in the world. 🌊 2003: Goes through the toughest military training in the world. Becomes Class Leader during Hell Week after two senior officers quit. 🔱 2005: Protects the Vice President of Iraq. (Feivel becomes Spoonman.) 2007: Commands numerous combat missions for a joint task force in Iraq. Is awarded the Bronze Star with Combat 'V.' 2011: Trades volatile commodities derivatives on Wall Street. Leaves because he'd rather be washing the windows of the building than inside it. 💰🪟 2012: Leads a team of 39 women and 1 guy at a fashion e-commerce startup (also the fastest growing company according to Inc Magazine). 👗 2013: Co-leads an effort to recover Moammar Qaddafi's billions for the Libyan people. 2015: Launches the first international operations of Amazon Fresh. 🥗 2017: First product manager hired to Amazon Alexa Science. 🧪 🤖 Since then I've led product management teams and launched AI solutions worth $500 million. I've always chosen to LEAD. But I'm human: ✅ Divorced ✅ Laid off 3x ✅ Single dad of three awesome kids ❤️ ✅ Meditation changed my life.
