Growing up we didn't have much. I remember our family qualified for reduced-cost lunch at school. Mom and Dad worked incredibly hard. Like most people in my family today, Dad was a blue-collar mechanic. A close family friend was an Army recruiter and he planted a seed pretty much all my life that I would enter the Army one day. So at 19, off I went. Since then, I've moved 13 times in the last 15 years! I am thankful for all the lessons and experiences one could only learn from changing positions that frequently. And at the same time, I'm beyond excited to have finally settled down... and in sunny paradise (Naples, FL) at that! So how did I end up in finance? Oddly enough, I found my passion sitting in a FOB in Afghanistan. I began reading finance books and started helping Soldiers open IRAs. I never really expected to go into finance, but I had clearly found my life's calling. Today, I am a CFP®(CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™). I have had the privilege of managing $100 million in client assets as well as being recognized for building the top team of Financial Advisors.* I am the proud father of two quickly growing young men, Aiden and Luke. I have been married to my gorgeous and selfless wife, Catie, for 13 years. Somehow, I've been fortunate enough to create a life for my family that we've always dreamed of. And, now I get to spend my days helping clients do the same. I feel lucky to be able to even classify what I do as "work"!
