Learn from each experience, help whenever possible, and utilize every opportunity! I graduated San Diego State University in 2020 as a business honors student with a Bachelor’s in Integrated Marketing Communications. Being a former computer science major, I changed my focus to SEO, digital marketing, advertising, and promotion where technology and consumer behavior come together. In addition to technology, I have a strong interest in sports and the environment, as well as a passion for impacting communities. I played a multitude of sports when I was younger, including baseball, soccer, basketball, cross country, track, and skiing (my father and I skied double black diamonds). When I developed plantar fasciitis years later, it inhibited my ability to continue athletics and my community involvement grew. I helped restore a historic Japanese grave site, and as a member of the Natural Resources Program, which I was a part of for four years, I conducted a year-long experiment focusing on agriculture. Coming from a family of educators who teach students with disabilities, I have always valued education and improving the lives of others both within and outside of my community. Hands on Sacramento was one of the main food banks I volunteered with. Not only was it an enriching opportunity to help the homeless, but it also allowed me to interact with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds and learn their stories. Integrated Marketing Communications takes my interest in technology and uses it to interact with the public while understanding consumer trends in various market settings. As a disciplined, proactive, and detail oriented individual, I am confident I would be an incredible addition to any marketing agency wanting to communicate effectively with their target audience.
