As an expert with over 20 years of experience in the IT and BPO industry, I help global CTOs and CIOs in both public and private sectors to achieve technology transformation, cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and innovation. I have a strong IT background and a client-facing approach that enable me to understand the needs and challenges of different stakeholders and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. A lot of my role is client facing where I work with people who know what they want, they just don't have a full grasp of the underlying technology required - and it's my opportunity to give an agnostic view of the market place and really recommend the best product. I have been directly responsible for saving over £100 million in IT network and transformation costs as well as tens of thousands of man-hours through improvements in communication, governance, and process. Some of my notable programmes include consultancy reports for two large local authorities, reduction of over £26 million in IT costs and temporary staffing, and outsourcing of back-office processing to an off-shore BPO organisation.
