My passion is helping high-achieving professionals redefine success, rediscover their authentic selves, and design a life of purpose, passion, and peace —without sacrificing success or burning out. We're taught all the wrong rules about success. Get the degree. Climb the ladder. Push harder. Don't show weakness. Keep going. I know because I spent 25 years following those rules. Multiple degrees, a prestigious corporate career, and a beautiful family - I had all the external markers of "success." But inside? My cortisol levels matched those of a 3rd shift ER doctor. I was exhausted, disconnected, and running on autopilot. Then I asked myself the hard questions: - What if success could feel different? - What if I could make an impact without burning out? - What if there was a way to have both ambition AND alignment? It was time to rewrite the rules. To redefine success on my own terms. My approach? East meets West. 25 years of corporate experience + MBA meets spirituality and mindfulness because true transformation happens when we merge practical strategy with inner wisdom. What I know for sure: - Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure - Your nervous system is the foundation of everything - Small shifts create massive change - Community accelerates transformation - You can have ambition AND alignment Ready to stop living on autopilot and start living with purpose? What’s the world’s greatest lie? According to Paolo Coelho in The Alchemist, "It's this: at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That's the world's greatest lie.”  I have been quietly writing my second book. It will be a personal reflection of my journey, including journal entries I've written over the past seven years since I decided to write this next chapter of my life. It also includes scripture verses that I’ve clung to during times of greatest fear and doubt. Now that I’ve put this out here, I’ll have to stay accountable to publish it this year. If you are experiencing doubts or fears, know that you are the hero of your life’s journey. We never lose control of what happens to us. This morning, I thought I’d share this excerpt from 11.23.2018, a month after I’d resigned from my corporate job. ⬇️ I didn’t know how it would turn out or if taking my leap of faith would be worth it. Now, I can’t imagine where I’d be if I didn’t.  What dreams have you ignored, convincing yourself they're too big or impractical? When we take action on those dreams, momentum follows, and blessings favor the faithful. The greatest tragedy isn't failing on our journey; it's never beginning at all. What small step will you take today? I hope this inspires you on your own journey. Read more … https://lnkd.in/gWVMjbjN #livethewidth #overcomefears

The 5 disciplines that create true freedom aren't what you think… Most people have it backwards. We like to tell ourselves that freedom comes from fewer commitments, more flexibility, and spontaneous decision making. But after years of personal development and coaching high-performers, I’ve found that the most disciplined person in the room has also created more freedom in their life. Our minds crave discipline and structure to: ✓ Decrease cognitive overload  ✓ Reduce anxiety and stress  ✓ Increase efficiency and optimize performance by automating routine tasks ✓ Reward progress ✓ Recognize our achievements and growth Here are 5 ways to create discipline that leads to true freedom: 1. Sacred Morning Routine → CREATES: Mental clarity and emotional regulation for the entire day. When you own your morning, you own your life. 2. Time Blocking Your Calendar → CREATES: Freedom from constant decision fatigue. You don't have to constantly decide what matters when your priorities are scheduled and honored. You’ve already decided. 3. Digital Boundaries → CREATES: Freedom from constant distraction. Turn off your notifications, use the Pomodoro technique, and schedule deep work time to create space for your best thinking. 4. Evening Wind-Down Ritual → CREATES: Freedom from poor sleep and morning chaos.  A consistent evening routine ensures better sleep, rest, recovery, and a smoother tomorrow. Stop waking in the middle of the night and reminding yourself what you need to do tomorrow. Decide the night before and go to bed ready. 5. Weekly Planning Session → CREATES: Freedom from reactive firefighting. Schedule your Friday afternoon reflection and planning.  Setting aside 60 minutes for this work will allow you to go into your weekend with more freedom and peace of mind. The result? ✨ More energy, greater impact, and a surprising sense of liberation. Freedom isn't the absence of structure, it’s more intentionally, disciplined focus, and relentlessly honoring the systems you put in place. What one disciplined habit could create more freedom in your life? Drop a comment below. I'd love to know what structure has created the most freedom for you. ⭐️ If you'd like to create more freedom by creating new healthy routines, join me for a FREE masterclass: FROM AUTOPILOT TO ALIGNED: A New Framework for Redefining Success and Fulfillment Thursday, March 13, 2025 3 pm EST DM me ALIGN or use the link below to register. What is the difference between a good week and a great one? The first 15 minutes of Monday morning. Many high-achievers start their week anxious or feeling like they’re behind. If this is you, I have a simple way for you to move from reacting to creating, and it only takes a few minutes. The key is to begin today and each day with intention, not reaction. These 5 steps will transform your Monday (and every day): 1. Win the first 15 minutes of the morning: Before emails or scrolling, gift yourself your presence.  Set one powerful intention for today.  How do you want to show up in the world and how will the world experience you? 2. Decide and design your energy: Decide how you want to feel today, then create it by doing the activities that helps you focus, feel good in your body, find more clarity, and fuel your body. Think mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. 3. Schedule alignment breaks: Check in on yourself throughout the day to reset, adjust, and come back into alignment if you’ve deviated from your intention. 4. Ask empowering questions: “What’s most aligned with my purpose today?”  “How can I infuse my day with more joy?”  “Who do I want to connect with today?” “What really are my biggest priorities?” 5. Bookend Your Day: End your day by celebrating your wins, no matter how small. Release what didn’t get done. Set an intention for tomorrow. → Achievement without alignment is exhaustion. ⭐️ Alignment + Achievement = Your Superpower Ready to create sustainable success through daily intentional practices? 🌟 Quick check-in: How often did you say "I'm exhausted" or “I’m so busy” this week? If you're like most high achievers I work with, your energy is constantly pulled in different directions. (I still struggle with this myself) By Friday, you're running on fumes - and the weekend doesn't feel long enough to recover. I remember I used to crash by 7 pm most Fridays, completely spent from the week.  Then, I‘d stumble into weekends exhausted and have a long to-do list of personal things to get to. Monday would arrive, and I'd feel like I had never rested. Then, I turned my Friday afternoons into planning and reflection, which changed everything. Here's my energy reset ritual: 1️⃣ Energy Audit (15 mins): → List the activities that energized you this week. → Identify what drained your energy. → Are there any patterns? 2️⃣Boundaries Reset (15 mins): → Review where you overextended yourself → Identify "energy leaks" in your calendar → Write down 3 boundaries to strengthen next week 3️⃣Intentional Integration (15 mins): → Schedule next week's energizing activities first → Block your peak performance hours - when your energy is the highest - for important work → Schedule breaks between meetings 4️⃣ Completion Ritual (15 mins): → Clear your desk and digital workspace → Write a "done list" instead of a to-do list → Celebrate at least one thing you're proud of this week The result? You'll end your week with more clarity about your energy patterns and start Monday feeling protected and powerful, not depleted. Try it this month! You should notice: ✅ More sustainable energy levels ✅ Clearer boundaries ✅ Better work quality during peak hours ✅ A deeper sense of weekly completion 💡 Tag someone who needs this energy reset ritual! And if you're implementing this today, share your biggest energy insight in the comments - I read and respond to every comment. #LiveTheWidth #FridayRitual #BoundariesAtWork #IntentionalLiving ________________ Enjoy this? ♻️ Repost it to your network and ring the 🔔 to follow me for more insights on intentional living and professional growth. "Hope is the last thing that leaves us as humans." Last night, I had the privilege of attending a Cleveland Council on World Affairs talk by Ambassador Roya Rahmani, the first female Afghan ambassador to the United States and Indonesia. The event was powerful on so many levels, and it reminded me of the strength of the human spirit and the privilege that we have to live this one precious life that we’ve been given. One of the most impactful parts of the evening was during Q&A when a woman in the audience who had recently moved from Afghanistan to the U.S. asked about her 17-year-old sister back home who is depressed, unable to attend school, her dreams shattered by the war on women by the current Afghan regime. "Is there still hope things will change?" she asked the ambassador. She wanted to carry a message back to her sister if there was still hope for change, too. Ambassador Rahmani asked for her name, looked directly into her eyes, and with unwavering conviction responded: "Yes, there is hope. Hope is the last thing that leaves us as humans." That exchange gutted me. How often do we take for granted the very freedoms others are fighting desperately to reclaim? (Girls after 6th grade can’t go to school in Afghanistan any longer) To the students who asked great, poignant questions about what they could do to support human rights, her message was crystal clear: Stop allowing distractions to overwhelm you and steal your focus, but instead deliberately work toward the world you wish to see. Her journey from being the first and only female Afghan ambassador to witnessing the devastation of women's rights in her homeland since 2021 wasn't just inspiring, it tugged at my heart, and caused a stirring in my soul. It was a reminder that our authentic power lies not in titles or achievements, but in our courage to stand for what matters when everything seems lost. As I drove home, Mary Oliver's eternal question echoed in my mind: "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" The answer isn't in our inboxes, notifications, or countless distractions that we allow into our days and lives. It's in these snow globe moments that shake us awake, reminding us that our purpose is always bigger than our problems. What gives you hope when the world feels heavy? And more importantly what meaningful action will you take today with the opportunities you've been given? If you’re ready to take massive action in our life, join me today at 3pm for my free Masterclass: "From Autopilot to Aligned". Sundays are different when you start with gratitude. We’re in NY this weekend for a family Christening and I just woke up and did my daily gratitude practice - listing what I'm thankful for. I do this every morning in bed and every night before sleep, and it’s changed my life for the better. And on Sundays, it’s extra special when the world slows down. Our brains literally can't process gratitude and negative thoughts at the same time. Notice how you feel after you spend even one minute naming what you’re grateful for for. Try it this today. Before you grab your phone or jump into your to-do list, pause for 60 seconds. What are you grateful for right now? I’m grateful for family today. #SundayMindset #Gratitude #PersonalGrowth #livethewidth If you want to stop living on autopilot and start living with more purpose, passion, and peace, subscribe to my newsletter https://lnkd.in/gWnyz9bb

What if the life you’re meant to live is waiting on the other side of letting go? Have you ever worked so hard for something, only to realize it no longer fulfills you? Imagine reaching the pinnacle of success, only to feel the pull of something more—something that truly aligns with your heart and soul. That’s exactly what happened to Babita Sharma. After 15 years as a BBC journalist, reporting on some of the world’s biggest events, she made the bold decision to walk away. Not because she had to—but because she knew there was something greater waiting for her. In this episode, we dive deep into: ✅ How Babita knew it was time to leave the BBC and trust her gut ✅ The challenges of seeking external validation and shifting to self-approval ✅ Navigating dual identities and embracing creativity for healing ✅ How storytelling shapes cultural narratives and personal growth I first met Babita on a flight from Belfast to London, and from the moment we started talking, I knew we were meant to connect. Her story is so powerful, and I can’t wait for you to hear it. If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or craving a change but scared to take that leap—this episode is for you. What if joy wasn't aspirational but instead available right now? Maybe you've been living on autopilot or hustle, and you are exhausted and burnout. You want to get unstuck, but keep making the same choices everyday that keep you exactly where you are. Here's the truth: Joy is available right now. Being in flow and feeling creative is part of the human experience. You should laugh - a lot, uncontrollably, and without judgment. But, it takes intentionality, new choices, and creating new routines. What intentional choice will you make today to invite in more joy, laughter, flow, creativity, gratitude, or overall great energy? I’m heading to yoga. The hidden superpower most high-achievers never activate is not what you think it is. Your superpower isn’t found in pushing harder or doing more. It's found in balance. Last week, one of my clients said to me "I don't understand, I've always been able to power through. Why isn't it working anymore?" For decades, she and many of us have operated almost exclusively from our yang/masculine energy: • Driving for results • Taking decisive action • Pushing through resistance • Analyzing data These energies have helped them climb ladders, shatter glass ceilings, and achieve impressive results. But running almost exclusively on these energies is like trying to win a marathon by sprinting the entire way. Eventually, your system breaks down. The burnout, anxiety, and emptiness many professionals experience isn't a lack of resilience. It's an energy imbalance. What's often missing is the equally powerful "yin" or feminine energy: → Resting and pausing when we need to → Spending more time reflecting → Creativity and imagination → Receptivity and openness → Nurturing connection → Inviting in more flow rather than forcing outcomes These aren't "soft" skills. They are essential powers that fuel innovation, strengthen relationships, and create sustainable success. The most effective leaders I've worked with don't reject either energy, they intentionally cultivate both. Take a moment to reflect: • Which list resonates more with how you operate daily? • Where do you feel resistance? • What happens when you're under stress? Do you double down on just one type of energy? To cultivate more masculine/yang energy: ✅ Set clear boundaries around your time and energy ✅ Create structured routines and stick to them ✅ Make decisions quickly and commit fully ✅ Focus on completion and results ✅ Engage in strength training or high-intensity exercise To cultivate more feminine/yin energy: ✨ Schedule unstructured time for creativity and reflection ✨ Practice deep listening with others and yourself ✨ Spend time in nature without an agenda ✨ Engage in flowing movement (dance, yoga, swimming) ✨ Ask for and receive support The magic happens when you learn to shift between these energies rather than defaulting to just one. Your superpower isn't pushing harder. It's knowing when to push and when to pause. You have access to powers beyond what our culture has taught you to value. Join me tomorrow for my free Masterclass, "From Autopilot to Aligned," where I'll explore the importance of balancing your energies for sustainable success and authentic leadership. How many times a day are you lying to yourself? Do you catch yourself saying: → I'll slow down once I finish this project. → I'll be present after I reach this milestone. → I'll enjoy life once things settle down. If you’re thinking these thoughts often, you’re telling yourself one of the most dangerous lies of modern society: That the life you want is waiting for you somewhere in the future. You’re rushing through your life today for tomorrow, which never seems to arrive as expected. The truth is that life is happening right now. You’re just too busy and distracted to notice. The irony isn't lost on me. I teach meditation, yoga, and breathwork daily and still catch myself running too hard. Slowing down may not feel natural, but we can practice it daily and return to it over and over again. Here's what helps me return to presence: ✓ More yoga ✓ Adding a second meditation during my day or meditating for longer ✓ Intentional breathwork to shift energy and quiet my active mind ✓ Daily time in nature (yes that's me talking to a tree in Nevada) ✓ Putting the phone away and turning off notifications during parts of the day ✓ Not multitasking  ✓ Savoring my meals and cups of tea without screens or distractions ✓Taking a nice long epsom salt bath for physical and mental restoration The discomfort of slowing down is real and can be uncomfortable. When we pause, we face unresolved issues. We confront patterns that no longer serve us. We notice the stories we've been telling ourselves. But on the other side of that discomfort? FREEDOM Ready to stop lying to yourself and start living fully in each moment? I've earned these bags under my eyes... and almost didn't post today. But then I was inspired by Marissa Rodriguez’s post this morning and decided to share this real moment. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but our flight from NYC to Cleveland was canceled yesterday for the second time in three weeks. Yet again, we found ourselves renting a car from LaGuardia airport late Sunday evening for an unexpected 8-hour drive home. Eight hours is a lot of time to contemplate: •Why is this happening? •What's the lesson here? •Why now? My calendar is full this week with great client calls, corporate engagements, podcasts, and my Masterclass on Thursday. Today was supposed to be my rest day to recharge after a busy weekend and prepare for this week. Instead, I'm sitting here taking inventory of what energy I actually have left to give. And then in the quiet reflection this morning, it hit me: ⭐️Life was giving me a Masterclass in acceptance before I could deliver my Masterclass on Thursday. We plan. We prepare.  We envision how things "should" go. Then life “gifts” us something different. What I know for sure is that growth doesn’t happen when we try to control circumstances, it’s in our response to them. I could get really angry at the airline that canceled both flights (and to be honest I did that plenty yesterday and this morning) I also adjusted my expectations for today, which was a more productive exercise. Here's what I'm reminding myself today, and sharing with you in hopes that it’s helpful: ✓Acceptance is acknowledging what is, so you can respond with clarity and peace. ✓Your worth isn't measured by productivity, especially on days when life had other plans. ✓Honoring your current capacity is the key to taking the most aligned actions, not forcing yourself to adhere to the original schedule. How do you handle moments when your carefully constructed plans collapse, and you're left wondering how to navigate the gap between expectation and reality? Let me know in the comments below. 👇 So today, I'm practicing one of the lessons that I'll be teaching in my "From Autopilot to Aligned" Masterclass this Thursday: being present, releasing resistance, and realigning with what's actually needed right now. Your midlife AWAKENING: When 'having it all' stops being enough. I went to grad school to get my MBA when I was 38.  I remember sitting in class staring at my assignment: Write a 20-page Life Vision paper. When I enrolled in the program, I worried about Finance, Stats, and Accounting, but I didn’t expect this. Imagining my life at 50? That terrified me. I was 'successful' by external measures: ✅I had a great husband and kids ✅We had a beautiful home we loved ✅I had amazing friends  ✅I built a successful career and was leading a large corporate team ✅I was finally getting my MBA And all of the other boxes we’re expected to check.  Yet that assignment cracked something open in me - it woke me up. It made me realize that there were so many things I thought I’d be doing at my age that I never even started. Completing this exercise was one of the most impactful moments in my life because I realized that the thought of being in the same place at 50 scared me. Here's what that uncomfortable assignment taught me: 1️⃣ Dream BIG - don’t negotiate with your dreams before you try 2️⃣ Writing down your dreams sets energy in motion 3️⃣ Your fears will create all kinds of  reasons to wait - start anyway 4️⃣ You don't need to figure it all out to take the first step 5️⃣ Daily imperfect action beats waiting for the perfect time/conditions And if you think it’s too late, it’s not: You're wiser than ever before - and probably care less about what others think. You have decades of experience - nothing is wasted. You can finally trust your intuition - listen to that still, quiet voice. You feel the urgency to make it count - adding a decade to your life will light a fire. You've earned the right to choose yourself -  if not now, when? That paper? It became the blueprint for my transformation. And I didn’t wait 10 years to realize most of my dreams. If you're scared—of both staying where you are AND of dreaming bigger—you're not alone. The most limiting phrase in your vocabulary isn't 'I can't.' It's 'Either/Or.' That internal voice that keeps telling you that you have to choose one path in life is lying to you. I see this with my clients and friends all the time, and I used to believe it, too: • "I can either stay in my corporate job OR start something new." • "I can be responsible and practical OR follow my passion." • "I can either have financial freedom OR work that fulfills me." • "I can either focus on my health OR honor my commitments." • "I can either be a good parent OR be selfish and pursue my own passions." ⭐️ Life is not a series of binary choices! These false choices keep us stuck in situations we don’t love and paralyzed by the fear of making the "wrong" choice. But what if the answer isn't either/or, but YES, AND...? The most fulfilled people I know have rejected this binary thinking. ✓ They're building big, bold, beautiful, integrated lives by embracing the power of "Yes, and..." ✓ Yes, you can maintain your corporate career AND explore your creative passion ✓ Yes, you can create financial abundance AND do work that matters ✓ Yes, you can prioritize your wellbeing AND excel in your responsibilities ✓Yes, you can be a devoted parent AND nurture your own dreams Two years before leaving my banking career, I enrolled in yoga teacher training. Not because I had it all figured out, but because something in me was curious. I followed that energy, trusting the dots would connect later. They did. That’s me doing a headstand in Tuscany during one of my retreats that I hosted. (Pinch me moment!) Remember: → There is no perfect time to try something new → Trying something and deciding it's not for you isn't failure—it's information → You don't need to have the entire path mapped out to take the first step If you don’t have to choose only one option in life, what "Yes, and..." opportunity would you choose now? What seemingly contradictory desires might actually be compatible if you rejected either/or thinking? Follow your curiosity and passion, and I promise you’ll feel more ALIVE and AWAKE. What if everything you're chasing is just a poor substitute for what you really want? The promotion.  The bigger house.  The next achievement. The next dream vacation. More money. We convince ourselves that these are the things we want. After coaching hundreds of high-achievers, what I’ve discovered is what we really want is the feeling that these things give us. And what we really, really want is FREEDOM. ✓ Freedom from worrying and anxious thoughts ✓ Freedom to spend our days like we want ✓ Freedom to be present  ✓ Freedom to express ourselves authentically ✓ Freedom to be aligned to our values and what matters most ✓ Freedom to be curious and try new things ✓ Freedom from pressure to be perfect ✓ Freedom to think for ourselves and not worry about what others think The crazy part is that by chasing what society tells us we want, we actually create less freedom in our lives. Today, ask yourself these questions instead: → Does this choice create more or less freedom for me? →Am I making this decision based on my values or someone else's expectations? → What would I do if I truly felt free to choose? The size of your life is directly proportional to the size of your courage. Given a choice, many of us choose comfort over change. • We stay with a job that doesn't fulfill us.  • We hold onto relationships that don't serve us.  • We make the same choices daily that keep us stuck in mediocrity. Why? Because comfort feels safe, it’s easier, and it’s known. And your comfort zone isn't really about comfort at all. It's about fear. The great news is that if we learn to be fearful in life, we can also learn to be courageous by building our courage muscle daily and pushing past our comfort zones. This month, the theme is courage in my “Live the Width of Your Life” book. Each day, there is a challenge to: ✓ Learn to be more courageous ✓ Choose to challenge yourself  ✓ Push past your comfort zone If you’ve been feeling flat or stuck or want to experience more, these prompts will help you get there! It’s often the small acts of daily courage that expand your life: → Speaking up in that meeting → Posting something you created → Setting a healthy boundary → Asking for help → Taking that first imperfect step → Saying “yes” to more adventures I don’t think I’ve ever regretted saying “yes” to growth opportunities. But I have regretted saying “no” because I was too scared to try.  I’m so glad I said “yes” to skydiving twice with friends this year.  Share in the comments something courageous you’ve done recently that has positively impacted your life. If you'd like to release limiting beliefs and push past comfort zones, join me for a FREE masterclass: FROM AUTOPILOT TO ALIGNED: A New Framework for Redefining Success and Fulfillment. One of my most prized possessions is a journal that’s over 30 years old.  It’s the Van Gogh journal with sunflowers on the cover that I purchased for my backpacking trip across Europe with my friend Anne two weeks after I graduated from Miami University. I keep my international student ID, railway ticket, and Air Canada tag in the journal. When I have limiting thoughts, worries, or fears, I open up this journal and remind myself that I was 21 years old, traveling before cell phones, before I had a credit card, and without a set itinerary to countless countries. She was strong, funny, and excited for the adventures she’d encounter and this next chapter of her post-graduation life. One of the things that is absent from my journal entries leading up to and during my trip is any sense of fear, worry, or anxious thoughts. I didn’t have a job or plan for when I returned home, but I wasn’t focused on that. I was focused on the moment I was in, so my entries were descriptive and vivid. Reading them takes me back to that moment. I was not in my head. I was living in the moment from my heart. One of the adventures I wrote about was how I got from Paris to Belgrade during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia. I wanted to see my grandparents but couldn’t fly into the country during the war, so I had to figure out another way to get in. I took a train from Paris to Brussels, where my friend Anne’s godmother, Marie-Pierre, contacted her best friend, Veronique, who lived in Brussels, to pick me up to stay overnight at her apartment. All I knew about her was that she had black curly hair and blue eyes, was tall and thin, and liked to wear pink lipstick. She knew to look for the American carrying a Marie Claire magazine. My French was better than Veronique’s English, and somehow, that evening over dinner, we talked for hours.  She took in a stranger because her friend asked her to. The next day, my adventure involved a plane from Brussels to Budapest, where I took a bus to Belgrade. Under normal circumstances, the bus ride should have taken 4 hours or so, but it took over 12 hours. There were countless security checks, my passport was held while they searched my backpack, and I was on a long, hot bus with strangers. And yet, I arrived to see my family and it was worth it. My journal is filled with adventures, memories, and countless examples where I was supported. There is beauty and freedom in being a little naive and not having to have the entire journey planned because, in the end, things rarely turn out exactly as we planned, but often exactly as they need to. Happy International Women's Day! Reflecting on the many incredible women in my life, I am so grateful for the powerful women who have shaped who I am. My ancestors who endured so much for me to be here today. My sister who has been my best friend since we were little. My college friends, I can still call today, and I know they'll answer the call with whatever I need. #loveandhonor #miamiuniversity My daughters, who are the best teachers I've ever had. My colleagues and past leaders that I met during my career, who have been confidantes and supporters. The women in my Mastermind that show me daily what a sisterhood of supportive entrepeneurs looks like. My clients who are strong and courageous building lives they love. And the countless others who I am so grateful to be a part of my tribe. While we celebrate women today, it reminds me that I have to do a better job reaching out daily to say "thank you", "you're amazing", and "I'm so grateful for you." Because I am. #internationalwomensday #grateful

What if they figure out I'm a fraud? This question makes even the most successful professionals freeze. And yet, it's the limiting belief that many high achievers secretly struggle with daily. From coaching high performers and throughout my life, I've found that beneath the visible achievements lie self-doubt, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. The executive with the corner office who constantly fears being found out as a fraud or not as good as people think they are. The entrepreneur whose business is thriving but can't sleep at night wondering if it's all just luck and fearful they could lose momentum. The professional who over-prepares for every meeting because "good enough" never feels good enough. Sound familiar? I've lived this struggle at every step of my own journey. → With each promotion, I questioned if I truly deserved it. → When applying for roles that stretched my capabilities, the inner voice whispered, "You're not qualified."  → Leaving corporate to start my own business? I was terrified.  → Launching my podcast, writing my book, hosting my first retreat? Scared for each one, and almost didn't do any of them. Here's what we don't often see: • The Achievement Treadmill of chasing the next big win, feeling only temporary satisfaction before moving the goalposts again. • The Perfectionism Prison of being trapped in analysis paralysis, fearing failure that it prevents meaningful action. • Imposter Syndrome that's so persistent that despite evidence of success, believing you've somehow fooled everyone. These patterns aren't character flaws or unique to only you. They’re the survival brain pathways that were formed in early life. The good news? Your brain has an amazing ability to change at any age. Here's how to begin addressing these limiting beliefs: 1️⃣ Recognize the patterns and notice when you're caught in achievement-chasing, perfectionism, or imposter thoughts. 2️⃣ Ask a better question: "Is this belief 100% true, 100% of the time?" Find just one exception to break its power. (This is my favorite) 3️⃣ Speak to yourself as you speak to your friends: What would you tell your best friend if they expressed this same fear or doubt? 4️⃣ Consciously access your inner wise coach/guide instead of your inner critic.
