Business Development Manager

I lead the implementation of business development strategies for various practices/industries that have included Financial Institutions, Family Office/Private Client, FinTech, Financial Restructuring & Insolvency and Project Finance.
- Support industry group of 50 lawyers from 15 practices, including Antitrust, Capital Markets, Finance, Litigation and M&A, that feed into the FinTech initiative by creating targeted business plans and marketing materials, identifying cross-selling opportunities and preparing pitches, presentations and strategic meetings.
- Develop and manage events and thought leadership campaigns to raise lawyers' profiles and to showcase the firm’s brand through various formats including blogs, social media, white papers and podcasts.
- Create and manage client pitches, proposals and presentations in collaboration with internal departments and track and report metrics using Foundation Firm Intelligence.
- Initiate industry reports such as market outlooks and niche area reports to understand client buying journeys, client pain points and how to best position services to solve them.
- Facilitate market and competitor insights with daily industry alerts and through real-time dashboards using Manzama to monitor news and thought leadership.

Davis+Gilbert LLP

I filled in for someone on medical leave when I was at Davis & Gilbert. While there, I supported the firm’s rebrand and new website launch, including implementation of a new CMS.
- Interviewed and captured 600+ deals, many in the advertising, media, PR and marketing industry, and other relevant information from firm attorneys for new website and proposal database. 
- Streamlined and updated annual PR industry survey and related communications resulting in increased response rate.

Business Development Consultant

The American Marketing Association—Washington, DC

I developed and implemented the overall brand experience for AMADC. I focused on brand strategy and engagement, integrated marketing strategies and data monitoring such as audience growth and brand awareness. 
- Generated brand awareness through an omnichannel content campaign, including webinars and e-newsletter, resulting in a 10% growth in social media followers and a 10% increase in email open rate.
- Piloted an innovative digital engagement strategy with mobile (SMS) and video touchpoints to build a customer community.
- Launched a community dedicated to women marketers in response to membership needs and to drive non-dues revenue generation. 
- Established a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) committee to support social change in our industry in Washington, DC Metro. 
- Led online community forums in collaboration with other local marketing, advertising and communications organizations to provide a public platform for dialogue.

Brand Experience Officer

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP

I developed and implemented business plans and demand generation strategies in collaboration with the office managing partners in the Mid-Atlantic offices; leadership of the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector and lead partners in the IP, Technology and Data; Finance; Dispute Resolution and Litigation; Wealth Management; White-Collar Defense; Investigations; and Regulatory Enforcement service areas. I supported rebranding efforts during the merger of Womble, Carlyle Sandbridge & Rice with the UK firm, Bond Dickinson.
- Developed innovative campaign creative concepts, audience segmentation, messaging and marketing assets, including publications, videos and imagery, and lifecycle map to support live and online industry events achieving 92% of the attendance goal.
- Improved the marketing budget for digital asset creation, production, and overall resourcing staying close to Finance on cadence/timing of project spend resulting in 100% on time and within budget.
