🔸Women in Leadership:  Through sponsorships, policies and programs, women’s promotions increased by 53%, representation in leadership increased by 6%, and attrition dropped by 11%. Programs were further scaled across APAC, EMEA, and the US. 

🔸 Led major DEI initiatives across the entire talent lifecycle from talent attraction, development and retention while also incorporating change management for achieving successful leadership buy-in.

🔸 Development of DEI learning programs across various diversity dimensions ranging from in gender, inclusive leadership, allyship to race diversity. Programs achieved a consistent 80% NPS.

🔸 Consistently tracked, measured and analysed DEI metrics to assess program and project effectiveness.

As my role grew with a promotion, I managed both talent acquisition and talent development priorities.

I got to be hands-on in developing talent acquisition and talent development (learning and development) strategies:

🔸Launched various Talent Development and leadership development programs, which resulted in an 80% increase in the talent pipeline and 86% recommendation rating.

🔸Hired and managed a team of diverse recruiters accountable for hiring 250 employees YOY across the 6 countries in APAC.

🔸Built key diversity partnerships across APAC. Disability hiring (SG Enable), Women in Tech (Indonesia, Vietnam, Manila, Malaysia) to further support DEI efforts

🔸Facilitated >35 hours of DEI training around Unconscious Bias, Bias-Free Interview Training and Inclusive On-boarding

As WeWork grew in APAC, so did I. My role grew to recruiting and scaling a recruitment team that was instrumental in finding the right talent for 6 key Asian markets. In addition, I supported the growth of hiring managers with interviewing and coaching skills.

As a mom and entrepreneur, some mornings get really hectic.

This week, I had one of those mornings.

😟 Toddler meltdown.
😟Traffic.
😟 Four bags, one teddy, child on the other arm.

My only goal? Get my son to school safely.

When we finally arrived, I was juggling everything and honestly, felt like I was barely holding it together.

Then something small but powerful happened.

Another parent held the school door open.

When my things fell, he didn’t rush me.

He quietly picked everything up, waited, and smiled as I walked back.

That simple kind gesture said: “𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵.”

I felt seen. I could breathe again.

And I remembered: hard moments don’t last forever.

We all have days like this, don’t we?

And often, it’s the small things like a held door, a smile, a helping hand that make all the difference.

Jacky was drowning in rejection emails.

A brilliant strategy consultant with 10 years of experience, spending every evening crafting applications for product management roles.

The best mentors don't give you answers.

They share stories.

When I became a mum, everything shifted overnight. 

I was asking myself: 
💭 Can I still be ambitious? 
💭 Can I build a career that actually works for me?

Most people would have given me a pep talk or a five-step plan.
