I have always been passionate about helping people, whether in the wellness industry or in my current role as a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP). Reverse mortgages are no longer just a last resort option. Many Financial Planners are accepting the practice of utilizing home equity to help their clients increase their retirement portfolios or – especially now – to help preserve their portfolios by having another financial resource during a volatile market. Still, so many seniors struggle financially during retirement. Many did not save enough, have had life situations, or rely solely on social security as their sole financial resource. My goal is to educate them and help them understand that the old misconceptions of decades past are no longer relevant. Many of them wish to age at home. A reverse mortgage is often a means to fund it. I enjoy partnering with Financial Planners and Advisors to help their clients understand our programs and guide them through the process. I believe in long-term professional relationships with both my clients and my partners. I also enjoy working with Realtors® who have a senior clients interested in utilizing the equity in their current home to relocate or downsize without a monthly payment burden. My senior clients are the best! It is an honor to educate them about reverse mortgages and see their faces light up with relief when their loan is funded.
