After I officially became a licensed Registered Nurse in 2018, I was told nurses were born into this world, and that I had finally received my ‘License to Learn’. After being told something like this, it’s now exactly what I aspire to do with my license. As someone who is eager to explore all aspects of the healthcare realm, I strive to capture a taste of anything and everything possible within this field that will help satisfy my continuous craving of learning and growth as a nurse, as well as ways to better our healthcare system for future generations. In addition to having solid healthcare skills, I believe personal attributes like effective communication, compassion, teamwork, ethics, critical thinking, and adaptability are also crucial to possess in order to deliver quality patient care and ensure patient satisfaction. As someone who now possesses experience as a Medicine, Cardiology, and Emergency nurse, I continue to be enlightened and educated on the endless amount of opportunities the nursing world has to offer me, in order to help me explore and build through.
