When working with large (enterprise) businesses my mantra was “business before technology”.   I focused on driving business change by working with senior managers and IT professions and using tools such as the Cranfield Benefits Model.  I created an environment of change and innovation around IT to drive by articulating the business value of technology in plain English.     Major achievements were helping EDS win one of their largest outsourced IT infrastructure contracts worth over $1 billion.    As a Cloud Architect I wrote the strategic cloud roadmap for a large public sector organisation based on their current and expected needs.    

I often ran or facilitated envisioning workshops with CIO's, IT and Business managers. The workshops ranged from short term planning sessions to long term strategy and priority settings sessions. As a Cognitive Edge Accredited Practitioner I also ran "sense making" workshops and facilitated research sessions for dealing with highly complex situations, and seemly intractable problems.
