I love helping people to solve problems and I do my best work at the intersection of Change Delivery and Culture Transformation. Ok so what does that actually mean? For me, personally, it means that any successful change only gets going and sticks when it speaks to human motivations. For too long organisations have hired for change expertise based on in-depth of knowledge of a particular framework – e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Prince 2, PROSCI etc. Change done well is about getting it to stick. Yes you need someone who understands and can apply frameworks but they also need to be good facilitators, influencers, act as a coach and often be a critical friend. I think that’s easy to say, and much harder to actually practice.
