Manage an existing corps of over 250 volunteers, ensuring each volunteer is well-suited for any opportunity at Powell Gardens. Manage a volunteer database and keep accurate records of hours and activities for each volunteer. Coordinate volunteer education events and recognition events, building a sense of community within the volunteer program. Schedule youth and adult tour requests throughout the year and schedule docents, who fulfill each tour program.

Served over 1,600 scouts and their families in the Lee’s summit, Raytown, and Grandview communities,
as a District Director. Directly managed a District Executive, working with them to complete their own set of goals and responsibilities. Exceeded a fundraising goal of $106,000 and grew Cub Scouting in Lee’s Summit in 2016. Worked with community leaders to create new events and activities benefiting Scouts and the community. Recruited new adult volunteers to serve in leadership positions for the district and council. Served as the Council Staff Adviser for Cub Family Campout, a camping event with over 3,000 attendees, held every fall for new scouting families.

Served more than 3,200 youth in Springfield and surrounding area. Main responsibilities included recruiting youth into Scouting, fundraising (four different campaigns totaling over $50,000 a year), starting new units, volunteer managing, training, and recruiting, event planning, budgeting, and maintaining the district website and Facebook. Served as staff advisor for the Council Activities Committee, which planned Scouting for Food-one of the area’s largest food drives, and the Council Day Camp Committee. Managed multiple volunteer committees continuously to host events, raise funds, and improve scouting in the community.

I love staying organized and making everyone's life easier. It brings me genuine joy to take something off my loved ones’ shoulders and work is no different. There aren't many things that can grow a company the way trust and dependability can, and I pride myself on being dedicated to both.
When I'm not at work, I’m at home with my plants, planning my next adventure, or heading to the gym. I am always researching the best ways to care for the plants I have (indoor and outdoor) and propagating more plants to share with my friends. My passion for travel also involves trying new foods, appreciating different cultures, and finding the best ways to do more for less money. 
I truly want everyone I meet to succeed and will go out of my way to ensure that. I have enrolled in a Google Project Management Certificate program through Coursera to advance my skills in that department. I also completed a SheCodes Coding Basic course to learn more about the coding and tech world. I am always growing and improving my skills and will always want to continue learning.
