Student Teacher

I participated as a leader in a literacy camp held by Dalton State College’s education program. I was on the third-grade team, and my teammates and I came up with the mini-lessons, activities, and incentives for each day. The camp lasted for two weeks, and each day was assigned a book that every family gets to take home for free. We read the book to the kids, incorporated writing and fluency activities, and did fun games to show that reading is fun! We were also able to receive lots of books for the kids to look through and choose some to take home and keep.
