My daughter broke her arm last weekend.

And she was the happiest kid in the ER.

Not because it didn’t hurt.

When she got back that night, bruised and exhausted, she wrapped her little arms around me and whispered:

That moment hit me so hard.

I drove 631km to ask one question.
Not for strategy.
Not for secrets.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿:

That line cracked something open in me.
I thought about the founders I helped find their voice.

The best part of being a female founder?

Leaving my 3 kids at home.

Not to escape.
But to exhale.

To be with women who dream as boldly as I do.
And to remember who I am 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 the roles.

When we booked this girls’ trip in May, I hesitated.

Not because of the money.
But because I feared what I’d lose by stepping away.

No Notion.
No leads.
No momentum to chase.

Just the sea, many laughters and days without a clock.

At first, it felt irresponsible.
Like I was letting my ambition slip through my fingers.
And I must be so stupid writting this from the aiport here.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂:
You're not losing growth.
You're gaining clarity.

Because you don’t work 𝘰𝘯 the business until you step 𝘰𝘶𝘵 of it.

And sometimes the smartest move isn’t grinding harder.
But it’s unplugging with intention.
Not as a luxury.

But as 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

To stop being a CEO.
To stop being a Wife.
To stop being a Mom.

And just be 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

So when you return, your next move isn’t just productive.
It’s powerful.

That’s my greatest edge as a founder and mother:
Not burning out.

Show how your product works and changes life. Explain the science. Share the belief shift. This earns respect and credibility.

Your values, scars, and stories make you human.
