I'll likely be less present for the next couple of days. Im getting in the car to drive six hours to spend a few days in the mountains of Vermont with a bunch of the best agentic developers this planet has to offer. Super stoked to do some deep dives and learn some new things. And as always, I will bring back these technical things and translate them into digestible lessons.

UX designer, product manager, chef, teacher, color maven, idea factory, design addict, baker, and cake artist.
After years of designing and building custom cakes, I wanted to use my design prowess in combination with my tech education to work in UX design. I learn super fast and leave attitude and ego at the door. I have a natural ability to lead, problem-solve, design, and create.  I grew up in a home with an engineer and an art teacher so I think it's safe to say I was born for this. I am hoping to combine all my abilities and create digital experiences with a clean but colorful aesthetic, innovative solutions, and inclusive designs.

Well, I did it. I got to 10,000 followers. Thank you Adrian Rizo. You were number 10,000. Sorry, you don't win anything. No matter how many people tune in to listen to what I say and read my content, I'm always blown away, but it's a full-court press to get everybody feeling safe about their future and knowing they have an educational resource that won't cost them a dime. Now personally, I think that deserves 100k followers, but LOL. I shouldn't be greedy.

Places are starting to reach out to me to teach paid classes. I dont think people understand my stance here.

And no wonder, because apparently a great case study needs to be metrics-driven AND story-driven, visual but not over-designed, detailed but scannable, strategic but also tactical, short enough to respect their time but long enough to prove your depth, tailored to a recruiter who spends 6 seconds on it AND a hiring manager who wants to see your thinking, compelling even when the product never launched, impactful even when you can't remember the numbers, and convincing even when you signed an NDA covering literally everything interesting you did.

I had the interface. I didn't have the intelligence. That changed this weekend.
The front end of Agent Modus has been done for months. It looked like a tool. It just didn't work like one yet.
The part I was stuck on was the actual agentic logic. The guts. The thing that makes it more than a pretty interface.
This weekend I'm at the Agentics Foundation intensive learning Ruflo and Claude Code, and my friend Dragan Spiridonovs, QE swarm together. And yesterday I built what I'd been missing.
Agent Modus now does what it's supposed to do.
I'm still here. Still buzzing. Still testing.
Next week I'm going to be looking for testers. If you want to be first to try an agentic design tool built specifically for non-technical people, follow along.

🫟  I booked paid consulting work before my business was even officially open. 
🫟  I locked in my first ever public library talk, bringing everyday AI to real people in my community. 
🫟  I booked a guest for DESIGNathon that made me do a little dance in my kitchen. (mysterious by design)
🫟 I got my business name approved. 

I also have two live events in the works that I am genuinely excited about:

None of this happened overnight. I spent a lot of my early life in survival mode. I kept building anyway.

I believe in karma. Not the bumper sticker version, the real kind, where what you put into the world eventually finds its way back to you. Launching VoiceOfAI as a free learning resource for people navigating one of the scariest career transitions this industry has ever seen is not a business strategy. It's just the right thing to do. And this week we welcomed an incredible new volunteer to the VoiceOfAI team who believed in that mission enough to show up and help carry it.

That's the stuff that makes me feel like the universe is balancing the books.

Coming up next week: a carousel on agent metrics, a carousel on agent-to-agent design, and a guide to LLM types because most people don't know there's more than one kind, paired with an AI fit test to help you figure out if AI is actually the right solution for what you're building. Not everything needs an LLM. More people need to hear that.

If you're in the middle of a hard season right now, keep going. The math catches up eventually.

⛅️ I think it's really important to put some positive out into the world with all the negative that's happening. 

☯️ I want to speak to something amazing that's been happening while so many awful things have been happening at the same time. 

🥀 While one part of our industry winds down, another part of our industry is just starting to sprout. 🌱  If you can embrace the change and have the willingness to learn new things and roll with the changes, you're going to be okay. Dare I say, you will even thrive. ❤️

💪🏻 I've never seen so many introverted, neurologically diverse people feeling like they finally are in their element. The technologies that are forming feel like they were designed just for our needs and our type brains.🧠 It really feels like a revenge of the nerds story is starting to develop. 🤩 

👯 The camaraderie and kindness and just stunningly beautiful people that I've been able to have the good fortune to meet with, work with, chat with, collaborate with over the last few weeks has just been inspiring to my soul. I'm generally just feeling very blessed for all those connections. 

🤗 I bitch about this platform all the time, and sometimes I have to reel myself in and have a little gratitude just for the amazing connections that I've been able to make here.
