As the daughter of a small business owner, I love working for a company that is dedicated to supporting small businesses in America. Being the marketing manager at ConnectPay is exciting because we've got an amazing team of creators and work with many different aspects of the company, from Sales to Product to M&A - but all with a customer focus.
I also love being able to apply my design background to develop and oversee a consistent brand identity for the company, not only through our marketing collateral, social presence and video, but also inside our offices through interior design and our employment brand.

Drawing horses, dinosaurs, and all other animals is my passion! I typically start with pencil and finish with paint, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
I also love to create surface design and repeat patterns, using photos and drawings as inspiration.

As a designer for large trade show exhibits, I have a lot of fun working from large to very small scale in the same project. My background in printing gives me an edge when it comes to designing for different types of materials and communicating with printers and vendors. I love seeing the finished pieces in a three dimensional environment and people interacting with them!

The Sign Center

Working closely with clients has always been enjoyable for me. Designing signs and business materials for everyone from a local electrician to a large chain of fitness centers allowed for a wide range of expression and the ability to incorporate new design trends, while maintaining brand standards for many different companies.
Being in the printing business has given me training in pre-press practices from wide format & cut vinyl to small press techniques and outsourced vendors. I also created email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact, and maintain the Sign center’s web presence.

Graphic Designer

Dover Studio

Murals, faux finishes, hand painted motifs on furniture and wallpaper - I did it all with Dover Studio. I led a team of 3-5 painters depending on the size of the project, and sometimes even learned a new skill (like “Faux Bois” - fake wood grain) on the job! Now I know for a fact that I can remove red paint from a tan carpet - and no one will be the wiser. During my time here, I also helped develop a product line of painted furniture and home accessories. Working through the process from sketches, creation, advertising, and photoshoots to showing at the NY Gift Show and Architectural Digest Home Show was a great experience.

Taking on new challenges is something I've always loved. Working for small businesses - as a decorative mural painter, a graphic designer for a sign shop, and a trade show exhibit designer - as well as being the daughter of a small business owner (which has been in the family for over 110 years!) - has always been part of what I do. So when I was offered the opportunity to help relay the message of supporting small business clients through payroll - I jumped at the chance. 
Designing the brand and marketing for ConnectPay has been rewarding and challenging in the best way. I'm very excited to continue to grow with them - there are many new adventures on the horizon!
