I use my authentic and unique experience and expertise to help others identify, articulate and build values based careers and lives. No two people are alike - so - everyone and every team needs a unique coach to question, challenge and encourage them to succeed - whatever that means to them. I bring lived experiences, intuition, industry expertise, certifications and life long education along with research backed coaching tools to the work I do with individuals, teams, organizations, and communities. I launched my coaching practice, Annette Blum Pearson Coaching and Consulting in 2021 and I co-founded Light Her Way, a women's professional development community in 2024. After graduating with my MBA from UCLA Anderson in 2010, I came to the Bay Area and spent over a decade working as a product manager turned marketing maven. I worked in and supported big tech and startups, driving large-scale marketing & community initiatives with creative passion and a growth mindset to cultivate thriving teams and organizational success. In 2017, I created Shalon, an organization to drive vital conversations that connect, educate and inspire participants. Shalon brings people from all backgrounds and perspectives together to unwind, share our stories and encourages action oriented conversations about community issues and personal and professional development. Connecting with experts and curious, motivated individuals allows everyone at the table to expand their perspectives, make change and evolve. I sit on the board of trustees of the International Coaching Federation, the Anderson Women Board and the UCLA Anderson Alumni Board of Directors. My board roles allow me to provide strategic insight and guidance and ensure that the organizations are providing as much value to their constituents as possible. I grew up in Denver, Colorado, spent time in Atlanta, Paris, Los Angeles and New York and currently live in San Francisco with my husband, son and dog. I love reading, dancing, hiking (in the wild and urban), cooking, traveling & eating.
