Recruited, trained and motivated 40+ independent sales consultants in five states.  Managed business operations, planned sales events, and provided training on customer service, sales, and team building.
• Created incentive programs for consultants motivating them to reach sales and teambuilding goals.
• Led team to achieve goals resulting in the privilege of driving a free company automobile.

Interim supervisor for ~20 civilian medical receptionists and medical administrative staff in support of the Chief, Clinical Support Division.

Administrative officer for the MEDCEN's Outpatient Clinic, responsible for ensuring proper scheduling of four full-time and two part-time physicians.

Responsible for continual monitoring of the civilian personnel profile for the Deputy Commander for Clinical Services, making recommendations on how staffing could best be utilized to maximize health care provider productivity.

Served as a specially trained aeromedical evacuation aviator flying UH-60 and UH-1V helicopters providing overall supervision of in-flight treatment to sustain human life and relieve suffering. Possessed full knowledge of Army Medical Department doctrine, organization, and equipment. Tactically employed medical aircraft, personnel, and equipment in support of land combat operations in varying tactical, terrain, and climatic environments using a variety of flying techniques and equipment.

Provided preliminary legal and administrative support to the battalion commander and his staff, coordinating legal actions with the Division Support Command and 82d Airborne Division Legal Offices. Prepared and processed legal documents in support of courts-martial, non-judicial punishment, and other military justice matters; line of duty determinations, separation board proceedings, and other administrative law matters; legal assistance services; claims processing and investigations.

Transition isn't just a date on a calendar; it’s a shift in identity. It’s the moment we stop being defined by the "We" of the unit or the department and start defining the "Me."

We are currently on Day 3 of Cohort 66 for Changing Focus: Moving From We to Me. Today’s session was a powerful reminder that while we may share a common background of service, our future horizons are ours alone to paint.

The diversity in this "room" is incredible: transitioning service members and veterans, finding their next mission; a diplomatic professional and a diplomat’s trailing spouse navigating global shifts, and a military spouse reclaiming her own personal North Star.

From six U.S. states to Russia and Georgia, we proved that while the mission changes, the bond remains. Everyone began with the same canvas and the same instructions, yet every painting turned out unique. That’s the metaphor for the transition: same tools, different destinations.

The work we’re doing this weekend is heavy, it’s honest, and it’s necessary. Proud to be on this journey with this world-class group.

Cohort 66 did the kind of work this weekend that doesn’t always show up on a résumé—but changes how people lead, serve, and show up.

In our Changing Focus: Moving From Me to We session, this group moved past surface-level conversation and got specific. Not about who they want to be—but about the actions, behaviors, and choices that actually define who they are becoming.

The word art you see here isn’t decorative. It’s data.

Every word was pulled directly from the values, goals, and commitments the cohort named—and then layered into a collective image that reflects their shared identity.

What emerged was telling:
• Persistence and follow-through — Tenacious. Dedicated. Willing to do the hard work, not just talk about it.
 • Practical service — Coaching, mentoring, tutoring. A clear desire to be useful in real, tangible ways.
 • Grounded presence — Authenticity, sincerity, and genuine care showed up again and again.
 • Making room for others — Inclusion, empathy, and creating safe space shifted the focus from individual success to collective strength.

This is what the shift from Me to We actually looks like.

It’s not abstract. It’s practiced—through active listening, flexibility, discipline, and the willingness to bring your strengths into a shared effort.

This weekend wasn’t about making a painting.

It was about defining a practical path forward—and doing the work to walk it.

Cohort 66 showed up ready.

There was a time when I thought purpose was something you "found."

Like it would show up one day—fully formed—once I landed the right job, hit the right salary, or finally "figured things out."

I was wrong.

Purpose isn’t a job title. It isn’t a role. And it certainly doesn’t disappear when a season ends.

Purpose is the steady pattern of who you are. It’s how you show up, what you bring, and what people can count on from you—no matter what’s written on your business card.
