- Serves as the Senior Manager for the Trauma-Responsive by Design consulting portfolio which includes domestic and international NGOs, U.S. federal agencies, state-level government, and private sector clients 
- Oversees project and relationship management, and overall client success, for engagements throughout the client lifecycle with a track record of high client satisfaction

Firefly Yoga International

- Developed, facilitates, and evaluates the Firefly Training (a 30-hour, 6-module, training on the principles and practice of trauma-informed yoga)
- From 2014-2021, trained over 500 individuals, from 26 states and 5 countries, of which 99.9% reported they would recommend the training to others, and 96% report the training exceeded their expectations
- Designed data collection processes and delivered direct programming to 459 clients in 4 years, including: survivors of intimate partner violence; those with PTSD, anxiety, depression; immigrants/refugees; LGBTQI+ individuals; and U.S. veterans  
- Manages relationships and partnerships with over 35+ institutions nationwide, including health systems,  nonprofits, corporations, and universities
- Oversaw human resources, financial management, state and federal regulatory compliance, fund development, and training program delivery 
- Co-founded and led a 501(c)3 (from 2013-2021) using yoga as a complementary public health intervention for survivors of trauma, and provides coaching and education on trauma-informed care to yoga teachers, social service workers, therapists, medical doctors, academics, and organizational leaders
- The mission of Firefly Yoga International was to promote psychological and physical healing for survivors of trauma by providing evidence-informed yoga programming, creating a network of trauma-informed yoga teachers, and contributing to the fields of public health and yoga through scholarly research

Fairview Health Services

- Launched Psychological First Aid and Trauma and Resilience training (original content) in the fall of 2020 in response to the increased burden on front line staff and social service providers due to Covid-19 and racial injustice 
- Led a comprehensive annual strategy for 7 community health programs addressing chronic health conditions, mental health (including Mental Health First Aid), and resiliency, which reached over 2,000 people in 10 Fairview Service Areas across the state of MN from 2019-2021
- Created, promoted, and piloted data-driven incubator programs that deliver innovative health solutions within a health equity framework
- Introduced and championed adopting a trauma-informed system framework to promote equity and inclusivity for staff, partners, and patients 
- Drove change through internal and external collaborations, including highly matrixed organizations such as: local and state departments of public health, academic institutions, health systems, and community-based organizations
- Served on the Fairview Medical Missions committee to guide responsible global engagement and evaluation of 50 global health trips per year

Community Health and Wellbeing Strategist

National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Minnesota

- Leveraged and transformed an outdated funding stream into an innovative financial rapid response program to immediately meet community needs through financial assistance with car repairs, housing/lodging costs, transportation fees, and more
- Managed, expanded, monitored, and developed evaluation tools for 5 community programs by cultivating and leveraging relationships with 30+ community partner sites, including Minneapolis Public Schools
- Recruited, trained, and managed 50+ volunteers for initiatives promoting racial, gender, socioeconomic, and reproductive justice
- Contributed to racial justice organizational transformation by guiding advocacy strategies, fund development, and leadership development

- Ran operations, budget oversight, and strategic communications management for the Office of the President
- Participated in the strategic planning process and implementation of transformed organizational systems
- Managed and influenced a large array of projects and special assignments while serving as the primary liaison for the President and Board of Directors/high-level donors to the Executive Team and staff

Boston University School of Public Health

- Directed a National Institutes of Health-funded study evaluating methods of achieving virologic suppression among inpatient HIV-infected substance users at Boston Medical Center (BMC)
- Supervised 5 staff at the BMC Center for Infectious Diseases, managed project budget, maintained regulatory records, prepared daily recruitment reports using EMRs, and managed Institutional Review Board submission, correspondence, and reports
- Vetted and collaborated with subcontractors, vendors, key stakeholders, and local and federal agencies to coordinate data collection, site visits, and the development of local standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Processed routine financial transactions, including: check requisitions, internal service requests, invoices, and travel expenses
- Generated monthly department budget reports and maintained accurate and organized records

Ibis Reproductive Health

- Produced a comprehensive literature review to identify gaps in research regarding integrated service delivery of HIV and a full range of sexual and reproductive health services (SRHS)  
- Edited and adapted a training manual for healthcare workers providing SRHS to adolescents in South Africa 
- Generated data briefs to package the research methods/findings for external audiences, including funders

- Recruited participants through street outreach in low-income/high-risk areas of Boston for the CDC-funded National HIV Behavioral Surveillance research study
- Conducted in-person interviews with individuals at high-risk of contracting HIV

Annie is a passionate and and highly skilled Senior Manager at Greenleaf Integrative, where she serves as the primary project and relationship manager for a portfolio of domestic and global clients. With over 15 years of experience working in global health, she holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University, a Master of Arts in Gender and Peace Building from the United Nations University for Peace, is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, and is trained health and wellness coach.  

Annie specializes in multisector trauma-responsive design (addressing trauma as a public health issue), providing quality and efficient consulting services for clients in various sectors, including healthcare, humanitarian aid, and federal and state government. Annie is driven by her mission to provide superb customer service, elevate performance, accelerate positive outcomes, and protect the wellbeing of people through an integrative approach that combines evidence-based practices, innovative solutions, and cultural competence.
