Founder @ Build Club - Reinventing how the world learns AI | Ex-BCG, Forbes 30 u 30

Sometimes the fastest way to accelerate is to take a step back... this weekend I volunteered at the MCP Hackathon in SF. My reflections:

(we usually run hackathons so it was nice being on the other side).

⚡ Hackathons aren’t just for 'hackers', they’re one of the most powerful accelerators for enterprise innovation. 

In 48 hours, you can build, test, and validate more AI use cases than months of internal meetings.

On reflection, the teams that crushed it had a few things in common:
 1️⃣ Cross-functional squads (designers × engineers) - no silos.
 2️⃣ Deep thinking and validation from other teams.
 3️⃣ Fast iteration with direct mentor feedback from AI companies.
 4️⃣ Open showcases + live Q&A that pushed ideas further.

If you’re leading AI adoption inside an enterprise, imagine this dynamic playing out internally. 

You don’t just get prototypes, you build momentum, culture shift, and collective belief in what’s possible with AI.

Some teams were spending their weekend building AI features for their existing companies.

We have launched our hackathon product for enterprises to use internally and the dynamics of the above have helped us rethink our product.
