I live by the motto that “everything is always bigger than you.” I’ve always been able to see the bigger picture – how the small choices, connections, and steps contribute to results in the long term. It’s what makes me such an impactful multi-hyphenate brand marketing professional. It’s why when most 13-year-olds were hanging out at the mall or making their AOL accounts, I spent my summers working with the DC Summer Youth Employment Program to increase my corporate skillset and work in different industries, like the humanities, performing arts, government, and public service. While at St. John’s University, I passed over partying to place 4th in the country for the National Student Advertising Competition while securing my Bachelor of Science and MBA in Marketing in just five years. But my insatiable thirst for knowledge and my gift of seeing the 100,000-foot view have not only been beneficial for me – they have been my most outstanding contribution to the spaces around me. They’re how I entered my position at MoneyLion and worked my way from Social Media Manager handling their end-to-end content strategy to Brand Manager coordinating their IPO branding, integrated marketing, media buys, national commercial development, and creative & PR agency collaboration in less than six years. They’re how I was able to connect the threads of Fintech to various industries and community initiatives, from sports marketing partnerships with Team Penske, Paretta Autosport, and 23XI, to integrated marketing with podcasts from All the Smoke, Unwaxed, The Crew Has It, KG Certified, and Hotboxin’, and community partnerships with dfree and Play Like a Girl. But most of all, my ability to understand how one impacts the many is what makes me a huge advocate for grassroot efforts. It’s why I’m a champion for creating community and culture with purpose – truly building and fostering a brand. And it’s why I intentionally give every opportunity my all. Community, culture, and collaboration make up the secret sauce to building a brand, and I use that as my north star every day.
