Commenced my career in 1995 as an audit trainee at KPMG Ford, Rhodes,Thornton & Co., Colombo Sri Lanka. I am licentiate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. In Year 2002 I was conferred Bachelor of Laws degree by the Open University of Sri Lanka in the stream of English Common Law Principals. In the year 2004 I was called to the Bar of Sri Lanka upon successfull completion of 1st Class Honors Pass at the Sri Lanka Law College final Examination. I succesfully completed Master of Laws degrees in the stream of International Trade Law at the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka) and University of Wales (UK). Upon calling to the Bar I attached to a President's Counsel Mr. Dinal Philips (PC)'s Chambers as Junior Counsel and subsequently joined M/s Paul Ratnekeye Associates (International Law Firm in Colombo)as an Associate Lawyer in 2007. In the same year I joined chamber of Mr. Shibly Aziz (PC)-former Attorney General as a junior counsel. In the year of 2009- 2012 I was appointed to the Sri Lanka Cricket- (National Authority of Sports) as thier Head of Legal, Administration & HR. During the tenure at Sri Lanka Cricket and Circket World Cup Secretatriat in Colombo Sri Lanka I extended my professional services to Internatioanl Cricket Council and Asian Cricket Council. In later part of 2012 I joined with Mr. Shibly Aziz's chamber (President's Counsel & Former Attorney General) again and extended services as a counsel until 2014. In 2015 I started on my own. I extended my professional services to Sri Lanka Governmental Institutes, US AID, Unilever, Dabur International, Oriflame, Maersk Shipping, Sri Lanka Shipping, Ceylon Shipping Lines, Board of Investments in Sri Lanka(BOI), Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka(SEC), Finacial Institutes as Bank of Ceylon , Hatton National Bank etc... I was succeeded in almost all litigations.I am capable to work under pressure to achieve clients' deadlines. I am successfull corporate manager and administrator. I am a blog writer and visiting law lectuter. I am disciple of 'Welcome" mission at St. Albert Great Catholic Church in Austin Texas.
