ConsenSys

• Co-founded industry-focused consulting vertical within ConsenSys Solutions, building a pipeline of 24 marquee sports clients for advisory work, blockchain education, and design thinking workshops.

• Defined use cases for blockchain in the sports industry, with a focus on fan identity, league and team loyalty, and athlete interaction.

• Designed an exchange and multi-token ecosystem, to be built with existing ConsenSys products.

• Compiled research reports on competing sports-focused blockchain projects, including technical analysis on user adoption.

Co-Founder & Operations Lead, ConsenSys Sports

• Primary author of the “Universe Guide” for Cellarius, a collaborative science fiction franchise built on the Ethereum blockchain, and script writer for project reveal trailer and four teaser animations.

• Served as point person for discovering and contracting initial cohort of content creators, including award-winning artists, authors, and musicians.

• Responsible for determining organizational strategy, setting key performance indicators, evaluating team execution, and providing bi-weekly and ad hoc status reports to parent company ConsenSys.

• Managed budget, allowing for growth of team from four resources to thirteen, commission of over 650 pieces of pieces of content, and development of four short live-action films.

• Developed models for governance, metadata capture, voting mechanics, and payment on a blockchain-based platform.

• Operated as engagement lead supporting clients’ digital transformation initiatives, including the following responsibilities:
--- Provided tactical, hands-on support to digitize paper-based forms and processes into electronic templates and automated workflows;
--- Provided strategic guidance on prioritization of use cases, distribution of communication plans, and standing up “centers of excellence” (i.e., governance structure) within the organization; 
--- Responsible for day-to-day communication with project sponsors and other client stakeholders, and led presentation of work products to high-level client resources; 
--- Developed training materials and curricula for client resources with differing roles and responsibilities; 
--- Performed demonstrations of DocuSign’s integrations with other platforms, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Flow, Outlook);
--- Tracked envelope and seat license usage metrics to provide data analysis and forecasting; and 
--- Created and presented materials for monthly business reviews with executive sponsors, focusing on multiple forms of ROI – hard dollar savings, workflow efficiencies, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact.

• Implemented best practices across multiple industries: health and life sciences, manufacturing, and law enforcement.

• Interfaced with internal sales and account management teams; responsible for three engagement extensions providing an aggregate $227k in revenues.

• Contributed content as part of an ongoing internal initiative to increase client usage of DocuSign’s “Knowledge Market.”

Customer Success Architect

• Operated as engagement lead supporting client’s formation of an intermediate holding company as part of the Federal Reserve Board’s enhanced prudential standards on foreign bank organizations.
--- Coordinated discussions with regulatory reporting team and data provider groups to socialize report requirements and interpret guidance from FRB;
--- Created business process flows, process and control narratives, policy and procedure documents, and business and functional requirements documents;
--- Facilitated mock report submissions by preparing production calendars and reporting timelines, identifying issues and tracking status, and defining tactical and strategic solutions for open items; and
--- Defined a data sourcing approach for specific product-level information, following analysis of existing data and performance of gap assessment.

• Responsible for day-to-day communication with project sponsors and other client stakeholders, including weekly status reporting and ad hoc touchpoints as needed. Lead presentation of work products to high-level client resources. 

• Responsible for internal engagement management, including communicating weekly status to engagement partner and day-to-day updates to senior manager, managing five staff- and senior-level resources, reviewing and reporting budget-to-actual progress, and maintaining service quality. 

• Benchmarked client’s regulatory reporting operating model against peer institutions and EY’s 2015 Regulatory Reporting Survey, highlighting improvement opportunities in governance, data quality, and technology. 

• Organized roundtable discussion between regulatory reporting heads from 20 financial institutions and executives from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to discuss industry challenges and FRB expectations. 

• Served as a peer mentor to two senior resources, and as counselor to two staff resources within the Business Advisor Program. Recognized for coaching by team members, peer mentees, and counselees.

• Organized and supervised completion of multiple engagements for insurance clients at both the corporate and subsidiary level, including annual and quarterly financial statement audits over public filings such as Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8K, as well as report generation for compliance with specific regulatory agencies. 

• Performed detailed audit testing over highly subjective and technical audit areas including investment income and valuation (equities, fixed maturities, partnerships, private equity investments, real estate), investment impairment analysis, debt, share based compensation, earnings per share dilution, underwriting and claims processes, and treasury allocations; subsequently reviewed results performed with client senior management and CFO.

• Worked directly with Senior Manager and Partner for audit planning, selecting significant in-scope accounts and establishing audit materiality levels, and held responsibility for providing progress updates during engagements.

• Supervised new hires and second year staff. Supervision included assigning work, ensuring resources understood the nature of their work and the objectives of the testing they perform, and helping them acclimate to firm culture.
