• Assumed position of a sniper multiple 2ic (junior management) which tasks involved the day to day running of an operations facility and responsible for shift rotations. 

• Maintaining and conducting security checks and patrols of the watch positions and check point facility perimeter. 

• Experience in mobile security escorts of high ranking personnel between remote locations in a hostile environment. 

• knowledge and experience in delivering pre patrol orders and briefs. 

• Helping with the administration and mentoring a group consisting of 8 to 10 Afghanistan police force personnel on a daily basis within a static location. 
Working alongside them in a static security role and also planning and conducting joint patrols encompassing counter insurgency operations and reassurance patrols within the local community. 

• Trained and taught patrol skills, ground sign awareness and shooting skills to neighbouring Police Force personnel 

• Conducted a number of patrols as a section  commander mounted and dismounted. Partnered with Afghanistan Police Force Personnel in ensuring all objectives were complete within time sensitive conditions for the senior managers overall objectives.

Sniper in the British army

• Member of a prestigious regiment in the British Army achieving the rank of LSgt with good grades on both promotional courses. I gained junior and middle management skills on both course.

• responsible for the day to day administration and training of up to 12 personnel, dealing with a variety of issues including welfare, discipline and safety at home and abroad on operations. 

• Proficient in the use, maintenance on a variety of weapons ranging from small arms to high caliber munitions. 

•medically qualified in advanced first aid encompassing automated external defibrillator oxygen therapy and remote areas medical care. 

• Helped conduct training to meet annual training targets including weapon handling drills, infantry tactics, field craft and marksmanship. 

• Instructed and assessed personnel on specialist courses, enhancing promotion and career enhancing prospects. 

• Accountable for inspecting and maintaining equipment ensuring full serviceability to support rapid development world wide. 

• Part of a close team which maintained and serviced a fleet of vehicles to enable sat or rapid reaction deployments at home and overseas. 

• Knowledgeable of and use of variety mounted handheld communication systems ranging in frequencies including UHF, VHF and HF.

Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the facilities services industry. Skilled in Operational Planning, Command, Military Operations, Defense, and Security. Strong engineering professional graduated from Musselburgh grammer high school. 

Left the army after 13 years service with the 1st battalion Scots Guards back in 2019. (Medical discharge) 


Retrained and passed my level 3 in refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump (RACHP) which I done through my resettlement. Which I gained the following certification.

Flammable gasses 
Oxy-fuel brazing 
Co2 installations, service and maintenance 
IPAF 3a 3b
