As the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC), I lead a premier trade association that represents over 37 million credit union members who serve the U.S. Armed Forces and our nation's veterans worldwide. With a Wharton Executive Education certification and 25+ years of military and financial experience, I bring a unique perspective and a strategic vision to the credit union industry and the defense community. My core competencies include organizational leadership, operational planning, and high performance. I am responsible for ensuring DCUC's overall operational effectiveness and the Council's continued growth and independence. I advocate for the Council on various legislative and regulatory proposals, bolster the Council's emphasis on financial education, increase revenue streams, and spearhead the Council's 5-year strategic plan. My mission is to champion the interests of all credit unions serving military and veteran communities and to empower them to provide the best financial services to their members.
