Papertrail is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for inspection, certification and audit management.

I worked on the web client utilising JavaScript (TypeScript), AngularJS and React.

Key points:
- Integrated a Webpack based build system.
- Refactored an Immediately Invoked Function Expression IIFE
codebase to an ES2015 module codebase.
- Improved the application's build time in development.
- Improved the application's load time for customers.

Enigma Interactive

At Enigma I worked primarily on building client websites and web applications. It was at this role I learned core programming skills and become a more proficient JavaScript developer.

Key points:
- Lead the front-end development of a large scale website for a major client.
- Implemented a style guide for quicker design to development cycle.
- Promoted the use of Sass styling for projects.
- Worked with designers to create responsive websites.
- Promoted the use of object-oriented CSS and BEM naming
methodology.

Digital Winter (Freelance)

I started Digital Winter to put my self taught web design and development skills in to practice and get a feel for what it's like to work in the web industry.

Key points:
- Seek new business and manage each step of the process, from the
initial meeting through to the project sign-off.
- Designed websites using a grid based system within Adobe
Photoshop, then developed them using HTML, CSS and
JavaScript/jQuery.
- implemented WordPress or bespoke PHP/MySQL based solutions for
customers requiring CMS capabilities.
