Before that, I was CMO at Capita, a £4bn consulting, digital transformation and business services company with 60k employees globally. In two years we built a strategic, data driven marketing function, transforming 65+ fragmented teams - with 147 brands, 185 websites and negative ROI - into a multi-award winning team. We launched a refreshed brand platform in 2019 in partnership with TED and Wired, then in 2020 we generated £5.8bn pipeline, closed the consideration gap vs competitors by 15 points and achieved the highest NPS score in 3 years. Prior to that, I led the global marketing team at Thomson Reuters, transforming it from a loss-making function into a happy, productive team, delivering 17% of gross sales and 34% of pipeline –making $14 for every $1 invested in marketing. We also launched a new brand - Refinitiv. I also spent 10 years at Accenture where I led global marketing strategy for a $3bn technology business to accelerate sales, drive customer loyalty and raise brand within the market – as well as lead internal communications for 50,000 people. I'm a regular speaker on the marketing circuit - on change, data, technology and client insights. I am also on the boards for ITSMA and Propolis - who both champion all that is great about b2b marketing - and a mentor for the Marketing Academy scholarship program.
