- Worldwide position at headquarters.
- Working in a collaborative environment with all the plants in GBU Peroxide including H2O2: hydrogen peroxide, PAA: Paracetic Acid, AQ: amylanthraquinone and TAB: Tert-Amylbenzene.
- Deliver breakthrough Process Innovation to unlock plant capacity, increase process intensification, improve product quality, decrease energy intensity and increase process sustainability.
- Multiple development phases Scale-up from lab scale, to lab pilot and/or to industrial scale.
- Development of new process vessels and technologies from design phase to full industrial scale implementation.
- Coordinate, manage and follow-up of industrial trials: including CAPEX/budget request and follow-up, P&ID/PFD design, analytical plan and final reports.
- Technical reports writing and PPT presentations for project presentation and roll-out to industrial plants of new technologies. 
- CFD simulation analysis.
- Aspen Plus simulations.
- Green H2 project development to replace Grey H2.

GBU R&D Process Engineer

SOLVAY CHIMIE NV - Process Engineer H2O2 - Antwerp, Belgium:
- Daily process analysis and follow-up.
- Monitor production performances and indicators.
- Support extensive Turnaround happening every 5 years in Europe's largest H2O2 Mega Plant, located in Antwerp.
- Process optimization and energy optimization program.
- Project and CAPEX management
- Plant is a JV with BASF inside a BASF verbund with strict standards to be complied with regarding operations, safety and projects.
- Safety studies and reviews - Internal Solvay method based on HAZOP and LOPA. Including MOC management system, SOPs.
- Excellence initiatives support: 5S methodology, Mindset & Behaviour, best practice sharing and OEE.
- SAP: Production, BOM update, Month closure, Purchase Orders, Invoice payments, among others.

Process Engineer

"SOLVAY PORTUGAL - Produtos Químicos, S.A." : Process Engineer H2O2 and NaClO3:
- Process engineer for two plants:
*Sodium chlorate: electrolytic production from brine. Process involves: product crystallization, Hydrogen by-product, H2 purification and H2 high pressure compression and storage.
*Hydrogen peroxide: organic solution composed of 2 solvents and organic molecule with inorganic final product). Process involves: Hydrogenation sector, Oxidation sector, Extraction sector and distillation sector.

Responsibilities:
- Daily process analysis and follow-up.
- Monitor production performances and indicators.
- R&I industrial plant trials of the GBU Peroxides: multiple projects management including design, commissioning and follow-up. Including P&ID/PFD development, cost estimation, timeline and CAPEX management.
- Plant Optimization projects: including heat integration, quality improvements and yield improvements. 
- Safety studies and reviews - Internal Solvay method based on HAZOP and LOPA. Plant with ATEX zoning and SEVESO Site.
- Excellence initiatives support: 5S methodology, Mindset & Behaviour, best practice sharing and OEE.
- CAPEX proposal, specification and follow-up.
- Laboratory Management: laboratory with ISO 17025 accreditation.
- SAP: Production, Month closure, Purchase Orders, Invoice payments, etc…

- Technological Development Department: Increase of oil extraction yield
through the installation of equipment and current process improvements.
- Economic feasibility studies involving cash-flows, NPV and payback calculation.
- Involved in Kaizen methodology.
