I used to wake up late, wasting time on things like video games and tv shows. I didn't take care of my body. I had low self-esteem and bad social anxiety, especially around women. I couldn't stay focused or disciplined. My life was going nowhere. I couldn't control my emotions. Bad feelings would take over and I'd make unhealthy choices. I didn't like the person I saw in the mirror anymore. If I didn't change soon, I was headed for a sad, empty life until things got too painful to handle. I knew I had to break this cycle. I started learning all I could about self-improvement from videos, podcasts, and popular books. But even with all that effort, nothing really changed long-term. I tried to build confidence and be more outgoing, but still felt anxious and unsure. I tried to break bad habits, but kept going back to them. I felt hopeless, like something was just wrong with me. Some days I wished I could just disappear. I spent years studying psychology, success, and anything promising "self-improvement." Finally, after tons of time and money, it started to make sense.
