He has authored four books: Reconsidering the American Way of War (2014); Clausewitz and Contemporary War (2007); Imagining Future War (2007); and After Clausewitz (2001). Professor Echevarria is a graduate of the US Military Academy, West Point, and had a distinguished military career. He has also held a NATO Fulbright and has been a Visiting Research Fellow at Oxford University.
