▪	Shadowed a Lead Commissioning Engineer to gain insight of Testing and Commissioning work performed by over 100+ employees at TRC.
▪	Visited 69/4kV (Greenfield) and 230/69/4kV (Brownfield) PSEG distribution and switching stations across Central New Jersey to understand power distribution. 
▪	Collaborated with PSEG Construction specialists in replacing a 4kV existing switchgear with a new switchgear that incorporates a fully functional control room to operate secondary devices.

Jr. Testing and Commissioning Engineer

- Processing over 100 applications a day and send them to faculty for review.
- Communicate and collaborate with more than 5 teams in the department in order to process student requests on time.
- Successfully reviewed more than 500 MS and PhD applications for the faculties to make a decision regarding admittance.  
- Monitor and assess the progress of each file according to the requirements.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students over the phone or by email

Graduate Assistant

- Participated in a 7-week power academy program in Lancaster, PA that covered topics such as Power fundamentals and Microprocessor relays.
- Reviewed more than 10 one-line diagrams, 50 AC/DC Schematics, and 5 wiring diagrams.
- Performed a series of lab activities such as doing continuity checks and testing for shorts and grounds using a Fluke 1587 DMM.
- Created and executed a test plan to test and operate SEL-751 microprocessor relay using Quickset and doble F6150e test set.
- Shadowed a Lead Commissioning Engineer to gain insight of Testing and Commissioning work performed by over 100+ employees at TRC.
- Conducted a Safety Tailboard among 30 employees which covered basic safety concerns such as E911 protocol, CPR/AED volunteers and emergency exit routes at each site.

- Collaborated with the Director of Engineering and assisted in the Electrical Engineering operations of the firm.
- Research the wiring diagrams of Ethernet cable and created straight thru cat 5e cables using the crimping tool.
- Managed the technical datasheets for PLC’s, VFD’s and assisted the engineering team in selecting the right components.
- Spearheaded the accounting of purchase orders and managed the customer relationship management on ZOHO platform.

Electrical Engineering Intern

Hi everyone, my name is Anvay Gumaste. I am an Electrical Engineer working at Jacobs based in NYC. I work on the Power team which supports Rail and Transportation department. I have over an year of experience working in the Power industry with a brief knowledge of electrical and power distribution. 

Apart from my technical background, I have a huge passion for sports especially football, soccer, F1 and tennis! Love to watch games on the weekends, explore new coffee shop and restaurants etc.
