My passion to help patients with Haemophilia started at the age of 14. I would save my pocket money and donate all my savings to help people with haemophilia. At age 16, I wanted to do more and starting tiara became my dream. At age 24, after 10 long years, I finally did what I had been dreaming of since my teens and Tiara Haemophilia and Cancer Foundation was born. Hi, I am Aparna, a public health and management professional & researcher with over 15 years of experience across sectors. It has been 10 years since we started the foundation and I am happy to say that we have supported over 900 children, partnered with 15 hospitals and have been able to extend our support to 5 cities. As a healthcare professional, I have been recognized with several prestigious awards. After a decade of operations, we expanded our scope and are stepping into building the future of all children in India. We are on a mission to use evidence-based action addressing the Social Determinants of Health to ensure all children have equal opportunities to be healthy, and ensuring that all sick children have equal access to quality healthcare. Every time I see children getting the support they need, smiling their way back to a healthy life, my heart is full. And I live for such moments. I wake up with the mission to reach one more child seeking support and every night I sleep satisfied knowing I have reached one. I am grateful to all the people associated with the cause who have been working with me for years and the ones who have joined recently.
