Introduction to Human Resource Management- COMM 181
COMM 181 provides students with an introduction to human resources management (HRM) in Canada, focusing on strategic importance of managing people in organizations.  This course emphasizes the role of the individuals in creating dynamic, successful organizations by developing an understanding of how the principles and practices of HRM help firms attract, retain and develop their human capital, with due regard to the legal context and labour relation realities.

Adjunct Lecturer  (Commerce Program)

Designs, develops, and delivers core OD solutions, programs and initiatives in areas that include performance management, leadership, training, management development, change management, succession planning, focus group facilitation, coaching and mentoring programs, talent management and team building. As well, this role provides consultation to hiring managers on job evaluations, recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Organizational Development Specialist

As the Faculty Resource Manager at Queen’s School of Business, I am responsible for faculty appointments, compensation and ensuring compliance with various employee groups and their respective collective agreements.  I assist with preparing and reconciling our annual budget and analyze salary comparative data.  I also administer grant payments, teaching fellow appointments, and other PeopleSoft related HR activities.
