Help the organization meet its business objectives by delivering strategic communications and change management advice, planning and execution for leaders, project teams, and departments. 

Lead a small team of communications professionals to produce and deliver communications that engage associates, increase awareness and adoption of key initiatives, strategic priorities, and core company values. 

Focus on nurturing and developing the team's talent to ensure job satisfaction, appropriate challenges and opportunities, and continual learning and growth.

Director, Internal Communications

Provide strategic counsel to HR leaders and senior company leaders to ensure associates are aware of, and adopt desired behaviors for key corporate initiatives, including strategic priorities, core values and more. Develop and execute communication plans tailored to the needs of specific audiences, produce all necessary materials, and leverage leaders of all levels to help execute. 

Lead a small team and several cross-functional resources to ensure deliverables are accurate for each target audience, in-brand, consistent with other corporate initiatives, comprehensive in scope and content, and delivered on time.  Manage department budget and all external freelance resources.

Senior Communications Manager

As a key member of the Organizational Change Management team, I lead the communications strategy, planning and execution across a major business initiative comprised of multiple projects spanning multiple years. I support the larger change management process and help ensure associates at all levels successfully adopt the changes being introduced and deliver the projected ROI for each project.

Lead role in creating and executing internal strategies to help associates understand business objectives and gain access to news and information related to their Acosta careers and job function. Primary editor of the company's intranet, set policies related to internal communication channels and processes,  the company's two primary recognition programs and emergency communications.

Heighten awareness about the company and its services using traditional and non-traditional media outlets.

Manager, Public Relations

Provided diverse communication leadership and support for community involvement initiatives, educational outreach activities and employee volunteerism.

Lead Communication Specialist

Managed workflow on all incoming projects to the company's in-house agency; provided creative direction to staff and freelance writers and designers; managed all relationships with designers, writers, photographers, and more.

Creative Lead

Provided comprehensive communication strategy and execution to a broad range of clients, including HR, environmental, safety, external affairs, information technology and more.

Senior Communications Advisor

Turnkey production of a monthly corporate newsletter (editorial calendar, interviews, writing, layout & design, traffic, production, etc.)

Project manager for all corporate materials, including writing and coordinating with outside vendors as necessary. Major projects included the Environment, Health & Safety report, the annual report, HR materials, including diversity initiatives.

Wrote and prepared presentations for executives, analysts and shareholders.
