A graduate in architecture fromCCA,Chandigarh, she went on to do a Masters in Science in Sustainability. An active member of the IGBC ; she has also worked with Teri ,GRIHA With over 250 projects designed & built by her ,she is a keen crusader of Climate responsive architecture, Imarat Architects, a team of extremely competent professionals, dedicated to Sustainability launched another venture MISAAL: Maati Initiaves for Sustainability in Architecture, Art and Lifestyle. Imarat seeks to restore India as a pioneer in Green Architecture by researching our vernacular and contemporizing it in its projects. Currently,the Imarat Centre for Earth Architecture ,under her aegis is focused at developing new construction techniques & promoting EARTHEN ARCHITECTURE,by building in Mud & Natural materials. Ar Savneet Kaur has been involved in the the building design,development and construction of Dharmalaya Institute of Compassionate Living since its inception. Since then she continues to be faculty for Hands on workshops for architects / students in Natural building. To sensitise the upcoming generation of architects in Earth Building techniques she has been taking courses at various universities & colleges of architecture since 2006.
