This space is designed to write who I am, so here it goes. I am the CEO & Co-founder of UVteam, a Business Processes Outsourcing based out of Bogotá, Colombia. We provide back-office support for accounting firms, customer care support for financial service providers, and, virtual assistants in English and Spanish for companies in the USA, Canada, and Europe. Before starting UVteam, I worked in the oil and gas industry in top finance positions in several countries in the Americas, Africa, and Asia for over 25 years. My financial and customer service background led me to start UVteam recognizing the need to provide support for my colleague accountants to keep growing their business and outstanding customer service through virtual channels. In fact, our name came from the meaning of “Your Virtual Team” and resulted in UVteam. This business model proved to be really effective during the COVID pandemic when we allowed our clients to implement a business continuity model, which has proved to have excellent results even after the post-pandemic times. We have been successful in combining bilingual talent with technology to provide a great customer experience and back-office support remotely from Colombia as if we were next door.
