Berliner Sparkasse

At Berliner Sparkasse's startup team I was responsible for taking care of our startup clients' banking needs - from opening their first business account to providing loans. Networking with all players of the Berlin startup ecosystem was also a big part of the responsibilities. Also, I initiated and managed Berliner Sparkasse's cooperation with The Place Berlin.

For the sales team of the bank's international division I designed, implemented and operated a controlling system. I built both standard reports and queries for ad-hoc request in cooperation with our bank's Business Intelligence team.

For the sales team, I also provided all other kind of support, like building presentations, getting background information, analyzing client lists etc.

For the export finance department I structured and processed Hermes-covered buyer's credits, letters of credit and other international trade transactions. My main markets were Germany and Western Europe (exporter's side) as well as Eastern Europe, former CIS countries and Turkey (importer's side).

I developed our internal renewable energy cash flow model and worked on several deals in this field.

Wie aus einem wenig geliebten Konzern-Praktikum (langfristig) die Idee für ein Automation-First-Startup entstand 👇 

Benedikt Anselment ist Co-Founder von NOA, einem Startup, das Unternehmen hilft, eine echte Automation-First-Kultur aufzubauen.

Gemeinsam mit COOs und Operations-Teams entwickelt er Low-Code-Lösungen, die interne Abläufe nicht nur effizienter machen, sondern ganze Teams befähigen, Automatisierung selbst zu meistern.

Bevor Benedikt gegründet hat, war er unter anderem bei Porsche als Praktikant im Projektmanagement tätig... und genau dort entstand der Bruch mit der alten Unternehmenswelt. Prozesse, Meetings, starre Strukturen: Was andere beeindrucken sollte, hat ihn eher abgeschreckt.

Den Kontrast hat er später bei FINN erlebt - einem der wenigen "jungen Autounternehmen", wie er es nennt, in dem echte Geschwindigkeit, Ownership und moderne Arbeitskultur gelebt wurden. 

Diese Erfahrung plus der konsequente Fokus auf Prozessautomation führten ihn schließlich zu NOA und zu einer Mission: Operations-Teams die Tools und Power zu geben, die sie in Konzernen nie hatten.
