As an Electrochemical Process Engineer at Solvay, I am involved in the process development and research of electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide, a key product for the chemical industry. I apply my advanced knowledge of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and process optimization to design and test innovative solutions, using process simulation and data analysis tools. I also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and technicians, communicating effectively and contributing to the project goals. I recently graduated with my Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering at KU Leuven, where I conducted a thesis project at Imec, a world-leading research institute in nanoelectronics and digital technologies. My research focused on wet-chemical atomic layer etching of metals for advanced chip interconnects, a cutting-edge technique that can enhance the performance and reliability of semiconductor devices. Through this project, I have gained valuable experience and skills in electrochemistry, nanofabrication, and analytical methods. I am a driven and enthusiastic MSc. Chemical Engineer, passionate about my career in Process Engineering. I am eager to leverage my academic foundation and practical experience to optimize and innovate industrial processes while aligning with the values of efficiency, sustainability, and quality. With a collaborative mindset, a goal-oriented approach, and a thirst for learning, I aspire to be a valuable asset to the Solvay family.
